quote:""We'd love to have Kristin back, but like a lot of actors, she's very busy," says Peterson. "And, so we have some thoughts. We have the door open. Right now, that hasn't happened to work out. We want her back. We love her.""
Kristin's IMDB page seems to be getting a lot updates to it lately! The latest update has been the addition of the film Blink, which has Kristin listed as a producer. The film stars Mark Hildreth (Joshua from V) as Adam and Sarah Lind (Jen from Edgemont) as Eva. The film is a short (17 minutes) indie with the following summary:
quote:"What if someone took only the good parts of a relationship? Blink is a film that explores the way we hide parts of ourselves and what happens when those parts are finally exposed. What if you could have the perfect life in the Blink of an eye? To what lengths would you go to make this a reality?"
quote:"Will Lana and Lex Return To ‘Smallville’ As Chloe Leaves?
As for Lex/Michael Rosenbaum, there has been no significant movement on that front. But turning to Lana/Kristin Kreuk, two wildly different messages are circulating.
Though Fancast heard from one source that Lana “for sure” will be back for at least part of Season 10, a spokesperson for Kreuk tells us, “I don’t see any ‘Smallville’ in her future…. I’m sure of it.” Similarly, a setsider says there have been zero rumblings about Kreuk and/or Lana returning for the series-ending salvo of episodes.
Kreuk herself proved skeptical of returning to ‘Smallville’ when Fancast spoke to her during her ‘Chuck’ run. “The show has changed so much it would be weird for her to come back in,” she said. “She was from a different ‘Smallville’ time.” "
Kristin's IMDB profile has her listed for the Law & Order: Los Angeles pilot. Then again it also has her listed for season 10 of Smallville. I really hope the Smallville listing is competely false, while the Law & Order listing is competely true!
Michael Ausiello of EW.com made a list of who he'll like to see in the new Law & Order:
quote:"Still mourning the cancellation of Law & Order? Good news: Based on the just-released character breakdowns, the upcoming Los Angeles-based spinoff bears all the hallmarks of the iconic mothership — right down to the interracial detective duo and the bombshell assistant prosecutor. The deets…
DDA Eva Price: This brainy and drop dead gorgeous assistant prosecutor doesn’t take crap from anyone. Seeking a Caucasian or African-American actress in her 20s. Armchair Casting Director’s Suggestion: Kristin Kreuk."
quote:"Kristin and I had an amazing time at the 2010 Leo Awards the other night, and had the pleasure to chat with some pretty great women on the Red Carpet...Check it out!
Although I have to admit, I am surprised we made it on time after all of the, "WHAT DRESS TO WEAR?" drama!..Honestly, we should have posted both dresses on the blog and let you gals decide which dress Kristin should wear! NEXT TIME!...Oh, the FUN of being a GIRL!"
Straight.com is reporting that Kristin will be appearing at this year's Leo Awards, that takes place this Friday-Saturday:
quote:"Stars that fans can hope to catch glimpses of include Erin Karpluk (Being Erica), Kristin Kreuk, Lou Diamond Phillips, Michael Eklund, Amanda Tapping (Sanctuary), and Jodelle Ferland (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse)."
Twitchfilm.net had the opportunity to visit the set of Vampire:
quote:"The decision to direct a film in another language is not an easy one - Iwai figures he correctly hears about 70% of what his actors say, in part because he's allowing them to improvise a little to make the translation into English more natural. Nevertheless, he felt this film had to be made in English. Though this is partially about Iwai wanting a larger audience for this film, shooting Vampire in English is about more than economics.
"For this film, I've been writing the basic story over ten years. It was before All About Lily Chou-Chou that I wrote the first image, but every time a chance to make a film came up, I couldn't make this one, so I'd keep writing. Four years ago I found a good idea. At the same time I'm writing, the same case actually happens in Japan, and a guy actually kills people, and it turns out all the victims come from a suicide website. This guy was too creepy, too strange to be an interesting character. He's just in it to kill others, but it made it harder for me to keep going because the Japanese audience was against the guy in that case, so I had to leave it alone again. But two years ago, when I was doing New York, I Love You, I was talking with some guys at the bar, and they asked me about the murder cases in Japan, and I explained it to them, and then I realized I could make my story here. It takes a long time, and dark stories are kind of difficult, but sometimes dark stories are very beautiful, very challenging.""
