quote:"Heya, folks: Talking with Kristin Kreuk re "Chuck" in a couple hours. Anything you want to know?"
Quick like a bunny, if you have any questions you want to ask Kristin and don't have twitter post them in the comment section and I'll post them for you!
quote:"I am so excited to see Kristen Kreuk on ‘Chuck‘! Any more scoop on her character? – norlean Didn’t she positively twinkle in her debut last night? It’s therefore understandable if Chuck isn’t the only fella to take notice of Hannah. Specifically, that relentless lothario, Lester, is gonna be angling to “reboot the newcomer’s servers,” if my analogy makes any lick of sense."
quote:"Smallville’s Kristin Kreuk pulled out welcome acting chops as a super-cute, incredibly likable, so-wonderful-and-fresh-she-can’t-possibly-do-dirty-things-like-go-to-the-bathroom, potential girlfriend for Chuck. Bring on the love triangle! But is she all that she appears to be? Bring on the theories!"
quote:"One of the best things in the show was Kristin Kreuk as Hannah, the nice girl from first class. I don't know her from Smallville, but I thought she was great here. And, fortunately, Chuck did not flash when he met her. She didn't trigger any connection to evil, so I'm hoping that Hannah will be something Chuck hasn't had for a long time -- an attainable woman. The fact that she turned up at the Burbank Buy More at the close was very promising."
quote:"The more intriguing stuff for my money, though, is the interaction between Chuck and Hannah (Smallville's Kristin Kreuk), who is revealed to be similar to Chuck in that her life is underwhelming at this point, having just been fired from her own IT job for a mysterious private financier... I think Kreuk has a disarming screen presence, and if she brings out the theme of hope in the face of uncertainty for Chuck even more, all the better."
quote:"Mmm Kristin Kreuk – what a hottie and the latest guest star on CHUCK this week.
I always loved her on SMALLVILLE and actually stopped watching when she left consequently. Good thing she is still smoking hot after being the shelf from TV for a few years...
...It would be interesting to see if she sticks around as it might be a good storyline for her to become some sort of a regular and give the show a different side. They certainly do have a bit of chemistry and like I said it would break up the monotony of the same ole we’ve seen for three years."
quote:"Second, though I was never much impressed by her during the brief period when I cared about "Smallville," I thought Kristin Kreuk fit in very nicely here, and had good chemistry with Zachary Levi."
quote:"Here's hoping that the tight plotting of the episode, combined with the great character moments (particularly between Chuck and Hannah, whom I'm already a little in love with) will bode well for the rest of the season to come."
quote:"Before everything went to hell, Chuck met Hannah on the plane, who was something of a dream girl for our hero – beautiful and as much of a computer geek as he is. Kristin Kreuk plays Hannah and I'd say so far, so good, as she was appropriately charming and appealing during this episode, giving perhaps the most charismatic performance of her career thus far."
TVGuide.com has recapped tonight's episode of CHUCK and again, nothing but positive things said about Kristin's role:
quote:"Aside from its comedy, drama, suspense and action, it also has romance, especially the tension between Chuck and Sarah. But it looks like Sarah’s got some stiff competition — Lana Lang, ahem, I mean, Hannah, played by Smallville alum Kristin Kreuk...
...But at the end of the episode, Hannah walked in and honestly, I haven’t seen Chuck smile like that in a long time. Even though I’m a big Chuck/Sarah fan, the look on Chuck’s face when he saw Hannah was enough to actually make me root for another girl to win Chuck’s heart, something I never thought I’d do."
3.05 CHUCK VS. FIRST CLASS CIA agent Daniel Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh) assigns Chuck to his first solo mission in Paris, ignoring Sarah and Casey’s wishes. During the flight to France, Chuck befriends Hannah (guest star Kristin Kreuk) and flashes on another passenger — the imposing Hugo Panzer (guest star “Stone Cold” Steve Austin). Meanwhile, Casey helps Morgan battle Jeff and Lester for control of the Buy More.
Kristin along with other leading Canadian artist have taken part in a PSA for Canada for Haiti, an government organization that's helping raise funds for Haiti:
This is really awesome of Kristin to use her public status to put out an awareness for something so important in our present moment! :)
Kristin was interviewed by IGN.com on her role on CHUCK:
quote:"IGN: How was it working with Zach Levi and Joshua Gomez?
Kreuk: Zach is amazingly lovely. That whole set is really great. It's such a nice set. It's really warm and loving and kind and supportive and all of those things. It's almost rare. I mean, Smallville is a good set too, but it was just a totally different vibe. Just so, so lovely. And Zach is a great guy. He's really good at what he does. I think he's adorable. He's funny and again, incredibly supportive and welcoming. He went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable. Josh Gomez I didn't work with as much. I got a few scenes with him and he's a little more quiet, but he's very funny. In the scenes, I couldn't keep a straight face. I think they're both great.

NBC released the official synopsis for Kristin's third episode of Chuck, episode 3.07 “Chuck vs. the Mask” which airs February 8:
quote:"CHUCK MUST PROTECT HANNAH WHEN THEY FIND THEMSELVES PARTNERS ON A MISSION -KRISTIN KREUK (”SMALLVILLE”) AND BRANDON ROUTH (”SUPERMAN RETURNS”) GUEST STAR-Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Hannah (guest star Kristin Kreuk) unexpectedly become part of agent Daniel Shaw’s (guest star Brandon Routh) latest mission. Much to Sarah’s (Yvonne Strahovski) chagrin, she gets paired with Shaw, who seems to be trying to get close to her. Meanwhile, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) and Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) continue their mission to get to the bottom of Chuck’s secretive and strange behavior. Adam Baldwin also stars."
Kristin made #8 on Askmen.com list for Top 99: The 25 Hottest Sports Gals to Ever Crack the List
quote:"No. 8: Kristin Kreuk—2003-2005, 2007
We know Kristin Kreuk from her time getting saved by Superman on Smallville, but we wouldn't have gotten that pleasure if it weren't for an unfortunate event in her life.
Kreuk was actually training in gymnastics as a national level until scoliosis forced her to quit during her junior year of high school.
As sad at that is, I'm glad she kept that figure, and I'm glad I got to watch it on TV.
quote:"Chuck stars Joshua Gomez—who plays Morgan—and Sarah Lancaster—who plays Chuck's sister, Ellie—both got to work with Kreuk. "I have a couple really, really fun scenes with her," Gomez said. "She was great, by the way. She is excellent, really talented actress, really adorable and beautiful and the whole thing. She was really, really cool, and to walk into our group, I think she would look at me and Zach [Levi] sometimes like, 'What the hell world am I on?' Because me and Zach just have our thing, and she's just like, 'Oh, you two are out of your minds.' But she hung with us, and she was really funny, man. She was really funny." (Seriously, spoilers ahead.)
Ellie has already been suspicious of Chuck (Levi) and Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) as they try to cover up their spy activities. Imagine her surprise when she walks in on her brother macking on Lana Lang."
Zach Levi and Joshua Gomez both mention Kristin and her appearance on CHUCK with Kristin from E!Online. In both interviews both Zach and Joshua express how they'll like her to return for more...niiiice:
NBC OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS FOR “CHUCK VS. NACHO SAMPLER”
Posted by Webmistress on 2010-01-18
NBC released the official synopsis for Kristin's second episode of Chuck, episode 3.06 “Chuck vs. the Nacho Sampler” which airs February 1:
quote:"Chuck MUST TURN AN ENEMY AGENT INTO A SPY FOR THE CIA- KRISTIN KREUK (”SMALLVILLE”) GUEST STARS-Chuck (Zachary Levi) juggles his two lives as he trains new Nerd Herder Hannah (guest star Kristin Kreuk) and gets his very own asset who is caught up with The Ring. Chuck thinks he can handle his asset all on his own but Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and Casey (Adam Baldwin) feel the need to intercede. Meanwhile, Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) must lie to Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) when she starts to ask questions about Chuck and Morgan (Joshua Gomez), Jeff (Scott Krinsky) and Lester (Vik Sahay) do some recon work to learn more about Hannah."
quote:"Episode 3.06 Chuck must turn an enemy agent into a CIA spy; Awesome is forced to lie to Ellie when she begins to ask questions about Chuck; Jeff, Lester and Morgan try to learn more about new Nerd Herder Hannah (Kristin Kreuk)."
This is interesting, mainly because Kristin isn't suppose to be in episode 6... well going by what IMDB has listed...Oh this is all becoming too confusing!
quote:"Do Kristin Kreuk and Zachary Levi have chemistry on ‘Chuck‘? – KreukieFan via Twitter Hells yeah! I finished screening the first five ‘Chuck’ episodes this weekend, and Kreuk positively twinkles when she hits the screen and starts making banter with Mr. Bartowski (who, at the time, is posing as a fellow jet-setting airplane passenger). The lighter, comedic fare suits the luminous ‘Smallville’ alumna, for sure."
quote:"It's not giving anything away to say I quite liked Kristin Kreuk's first episode "Chuck." She has a multi-episode arc this season, and she's good."
The 2 hour premiere of CHUCK is tonight, starting at 9/8c. No Kristin tonight not until January 25th, but still worth a watch! More so if you don't want to be in total confusion once Kristin's episodes start airing!
That said, I'll like to hear what you guys think of the series premiere once you're finish watching it tonight!
Kristin is rumored to be auditioning to play Valentine's daughter on General Hospital! From SoapCentral.com:
quote:"Believe it or not there is a rumor that Kristin Kreuk(Lana) from Smallville is rumored to have auditioned to play the role of Valentine Cassadine's daugther. I find it weird that alot of shows on CW in the past have come to GH or went to CW shows. Like Greg Vaughn, Ted King, Finola Hughes, Brad Maule, and others all have had guest spots on GH and on CW shows. I still find it unbelievable. Who do you think Kristin Kreuk love interest should be if she comes to GH? Patrick Frake or his brother or even how about Lucky or Nicholas but that would be gross since they are cousins."
Zachary Levi was interviewed by TWOP where he expressed his hopes that Kristin returns for more episodes of CHUCK:
quote:"TWoP: Any great guest stars we can look forward to this season? ZL: Brandon Routh is doing a huge arc on the show. Kristin Kreuk did three episodes and hopefully we will be able to get her back. I thought she was just delightful. And she's gorgeous! It's just ridiculous."
NBC released the official synopsis for Kristin's first Chuck episode, episode 3.05, “Chuck vs. First Class”, airing January 25:
quote:"CIA agent Daniel Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh) assigns Chuck to his first solo mission in Paris, ignoring Sarah and Casey’s wishes. During the flight to France, Chuck befriends Hannah (guest star Kristin Kreuk) and flashes on another passenger — the imposing Hugo Panzer (guest star “Stone Cold” Steve Austin). Forum user Chuck posted some real detailed spoilers about Kristin's first episode of Chuck as Hannah. Select and highlight to view the spoilers below:
First Spolier we have about Hannah QUOTE She'll play Hannah, a publishing exec who meets Chuck on a plane headed for Paris, aka the city of amour. Sparks will ignite, says an insider. Hannah, after being laid off from her fabulous job, ends up working at the Buy More
Now,let me tell you this couldn`t be more..........WRONG She did not work at Publishing, there was nothing 'glamourous about her previous job ,Hannah worked with computer, she`s a computer specialist and that makes her eventual arrival at BuyMore much more makes sense and less suspicious.
She`s like the female Chuck, but cooler.Thew first time we see her,she looks so sweet and lovely{and yeah something radiant about her complexion},and pretty much innocent, what the early Lana?no..no..Kristin deliveres the role differently, she talks different too,she does not reminds me of Lana
And you see, she`s very likeable, but you`ll start grow suspicious about her near the end of the episode(that spoiler that from the producer that said she`s just a normnal civilian,is also wrong,i think For those who loves the BuyMore aspect of the show will love it even more in season3,Jess and Lester gets weirder, and will much more connected with the spy arch, unlike last season, specially with Hannah coming in...
...That`s it,i can`t leak more,sorry Trust me,she picked the right role.
Thanks to Chuck for sharing these spoilers with us!
Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah Walker) of Chuck talked a bit about Kristin's role and her character's affect on the Sarah/Chuck relationship in an interview with fancast.com:
quote:"Will the introduction of Shaw and Hannah (played by Kreuk) present a respite from Chuck and Sarah’s “Will They/Won’t They?” angst, or only make it worse? I think it will make it even more torturous! [Laughs] There’s always that “Will They/Won’t They?” thing, and when you add third parties into it… it’s a pain to watch somebody hook up with somebody else. So yes, we continue that. There’s always the bubbling romance underneath."
Two things, first Chuck vs. The Podcast has a video interview with Zachary Levi and Joshua Gomez where Kristin is mentioned. Video can be found by clicking here!
Second, Kristin's IMDB profile has Kristin listed for 4 episodes of Chuck, not 3 as it was previously shown:
quote:""Chuck" .... Hannah (4 episodes, 2010) - Chuck vs First Class (2010) TV episode .... Hannah - Chuck vs. the Beard (????) TV episode .... Hannah - Chuck vs the Mask (????) TV episode .... Hannah - Chuck vs the Nose (????) TV episode .... Hannah"
There still hasn't been a clear confirmation as to how many episodes Kristin will be in, but going by one of Zachary's interviews and what was shown on IMDB before, it was thought to be just 3 episodes. Now that it's been updated to 4, one has to wonder...
FINALLY! After 6 years, Kristin's IMDB profile photo has been changed from the awkward side profile promo still from Eurotrip to a candid from the CW Upfront:
For the longest I had an issue with Kristin's IMDB profile picture not being very fitting as a profile photo for IMDB! This is why it being changed is GREAT news, haha!
