quote:"Anne and James were on my flight home late last night, surprisingly low key and still deeply in the throes of early, horny, addictive infatuation and in a creepy way, I feel the same about Kristin Kreuk from Smallville.
She presented at the Geminis, she was also on our flight back to Vancouver, and I won’t bother attaching a photo because photos do not do this girl justice. In person, Kristin Kreuk is, like, otherworldly beautiful. Like, weak-kneed beautiful… a modern manifestation of Narcissus – if I looked like that, my eyes would never leave my own face either."
Partition, will be playing a special screening in New York as part of the Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council. This will be the first time, that I'm at least aware of, of Partition being screened in a theater here in the U.S, exciting!
Partition will be feature #21 and screening schedule is as followed:
Loews AMC Empire on 19th Street & Broadway Theatre 1 – Sunday Nov, 11 at 2:30 PM
quote:"Tonight I watched E Talk on CTV and they talked about the Geminis award and they mentioned a few people that are going to be there and they mentioned Kristin and showed a clip of the Partition premiere. It was something about the stars who will be on the red carpet, i think. Hopefully some pictures will be taken...
Maybe Kristin will be interviewed, who knows? Anyway, Etalk will show a complete coverage of the event next Monday on CTV."
Gemini Award presenters generally fall into four categories: Everyday Canucks, Publicity Hungry, Dragged Against Their Will, and Who?
Tom Jackson, comics Shawn Majumder and Russell Peters, Kid in the Hall Mark McKinney, Corner Gas' Brent Butt and Tara Spencer-Nairn, Rick Mercer, Paul Gross, Carlo Rota, Miriam McDonald and Ian Hanomansing round out the first group.
Yearning for spotlight are Trish Stratus, Jason Priestley, Kathleen Robertson and, oh yes, Corey Haim.
We're guessing Scrubs star Sarah Chalke isn't psyched about spending time in Regina, nor are Smallville's Kristin Kreuk and sole American Anne Heche -- who likely had a push from her Nova Scotian Men in Trees co-star James Tupper."
Kristin mentioned in another Cure review, this time by Firefox.org:
quote:"...it is a solid episode with great high points. Most of them belong to the ladies of Smallville; the girls brought their A-game this time. Allison, Laura, and Kristin all gave very strong performances that saved potentially mediocre dialogue.
Don't worry; I'm not leaving out Kristin Kreuk. A character of extremes, Lana's never quite clicked with many fans, but not for lack of Smallville's trying. They've done everything, but the one. Lana's character has hinted at darker aspects in past seasons, but Smallville's consistently backed off. This season, however, it seems that may be changing. Kristin comes alive when given a chance to play with Lana's dark side, and it seems she may be getting her wish. Kristin's facial expression in her final scene, revealing Lana's obsessive surveillance of Lex, was absolutely chilling. I look forward to more of the same."
CHRISTINA MILIAN GUEST STARS — The residents of Smallville are thrilled when “Warrior Angel,” a movie based on a comic book, begins shooting in town. However, after the lead actress, Rachel Davenport (guest star Christina Milian) takes off in stunt car with cut brakes, Clark (Tom Welling) must step in to stop the runaway car. Unfortunately, an obsessed fan witnesses this heroic event and decides Clark is a real life superhero, whose girlfriend Lana (Kristin Kreuk) must be eliminated so Clark can fulfill his destiny. Meanwhile, Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) discovers Lionel (John Glover) at the cabin.
CWTV.com posted a promo video for Thursday night that features Kristin and the other women of Thursday nights with the tag line - Thursday nights aren't just for the guys anymore...
quote:"Last week the Smallville writers gave me my Kristin Kreuk/Laura Vandervoort scene with the latter wearing nothing but a bikini and high heels. This week, we had them both in adorable pajamas. Once again, thank you...
...I've said countless times that I think Kristin Kreuk is an absolutely beautiful and talented actress, but Lana's role on the show has long run its course."
LOIS AND CLARK’S” SUPERMAN DEAN CAIN GUEST STARS — Chloe (Allison Mack) learns that a doctor, Dr. Curtis Knox (Dean Cain), has been treating meteor-infected people and removing their abilities. Desperate to get rid of her powers, Chloe makes an appointment to see him, unaware that Dr. Knox has a nefarious plan to kill his patients and harvest their organs. Meanwhile, Kara (Laura Vandervoort) cons Jimmy (Aaron Ashmore) into helping her locate her crystal and defies Clark’s (Tom Welling) order to stay on the farm after she discovers its whereabouts.
Lana (Kristin Kreuk) sets up secret surveillance of Lex (Michael Rosenbaum).

quote:"Ask and you shall receive. Since Laura Vandervoort has been cast as Kara, I've been saying in my columns that I want her and the always-beautiful Kristin Kreuk to share a scene together. Well, three episodes into the season, and my wish has been granted. Not only has it been granted….but one of the actresses was even in a bikini! This almost (ALMOST) makes up for the lack of episodic commentaries on the season six DVD set. Nevertheless, I'm grateful, and thank you. Lets just hope it's not the only time it happens this season."
quote:"Last week's episode also revealed how Lana faked her own death, and it turned out that Clark had nothing to do with it. I was actually quite impressed with the explanation the writers came up with, as I found it rather clever and consistent with the characters Lana and Lex grew into near the end of their relationship. I do wonder, though, who was the person in the truck that pulled her to safety and helped her escape? Oh, and how many apple boxes was Kristin Kreuk standing on during her scene with Lex?
...Oh, and I'm still waiting for my Laura Vandervoort and Kristin Kreuk scene together."
AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL WINNER EVA MARCILLE GUEST STARS — Kara (Laura Vandervoort) desperately wants to make friends and fit in on Earth, but Clark (Tom Welling) tells her to keep a low profile until she can get her powers under control. Despite his warnings, when the “Miss Sweet Corn” beauty pageant comes around, Kara signs up and meets the competition – Tyler (Eva Marcille), Carly (Elisa King) and Tempest (Christine Chatelain) – three meteor-infected vixens who plan to use their powers to steal a treasure map to the hidden Smallville time capsule. After Tyler witnesses Kara using her powers, the girls pretend to be her friends, but are really planning to use her for their devious plan. Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum, Allison Mack, Aaron Ashmore and John Glover also star.
quote:"Something of interest I think is the resurgence of Lana Lang. I may realize that I may be all alone on this, but totally loved this scene. I knew it was coming, but I still loved it. When I initially heard about the whole cloning angle, I’ll admit I was a little skeptical, but it was pulled off onscreen very wonderfully! Kristin Kreuk really played this scene wonderfully! As I’ve said before, Kristin really shines as an actress when she’s given great stuff to work with. The Lana that we see here is definitely a departure from the sweet little girl that we’re used to seeing in previous seasons. She definitely seemed darker and tougher than earlier seasons. Some people have wondered what Lana’s new role in the series will be. It is my theory that she may be working to bring down Lex, and time will tell what she’ll be doing once she returns to Smallville. I do wonder how Lana being alive affects her marriage to Lex. Are they divorced or still married? I guess time will tell. It shall be very interesting indeed to see how Clark and Lana’s reunion turns out when she returns to Smallville next week."
quote:"I also had a clear picture of who would play the adult Sarah. Kristin Kreuk, ‘Lana’ from the popular TV show Smallville. Again, she has the darker coloring, and I think she’s a wonderful actress who knows how to pull off emotional scenes. Shortly after this article appeared on My Book, The Movie, I was contacted by a Kristin Kreuk fan who gave me the actress’ contact information. I sent out a brief email to her agent and was invited to send Kristin a copy of Whale Song, which I must admit, made my day."
In the past two days Kristin has been featured on many different gossip blogs throughout the internet, the blogs are as followed:
- Justjared.com
- Hollywoodbackwash.com
- Egotastic.com
- Celebutopia.net
- Dlisted.com
That's all that I know of, there may be more!? Reason for me posting this as news, is because Kristin has never ever been featured on so many blogs all at the same time, EVER! Donno if that's a good or bad thing...hmmm.
The CW's Official Description: CLARK MEETS HIS COUSIN KARA KENT AND VISITS JOR-EL — Clark (Tom Welling) and Lois (Erica Durance) discover Kara’s (Laura Vandervoort) spaceship but before they can open it, Kara appears and knocks Lois out. Clark is shocked after Kara tells him she is there to protect baby Kal-El. Despite Kara’s appearance, a despondent Clark decides that without Lana (Kristin Kreuk) there is nothing keeping him in Smallville, and heads to the Fortress of Solitude to begin his training as a superhero. However, Jor-El tells him Kara’s father - Zor-El, who is Jor-El’s brother - is evil and Kara is dangerous, therefore Clark must stay in Smallville to find out why she came to Earth. Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) makes a stunning discovery regarding Lana and Project 33.1.
quote:"Last Saturday night, Insight Film Studios hosted a star-studded close to the festival's trade froum with a red carpet gala at The Italian Kitchen on Alberni Street. Celebrities in attendance included Charles Martin Smith, Wesley Snipes, Robert Lantos, Alan Thicke, Kristin Kreuk, Tricia Helfer and Chris Haddock....among others."
Ausiello: That "darker" Lana that exec producer Al Gough's been teasing? Turns out, Little Miss Lang's got a touch of embezzler in her. Also, Clark receives a veddy interesting gift at the end of the Oct. 25 episode. Here's a hint: It's neither black not white, but it is red all over."
Starting this Wednesday Canadians who receive A-Channel on their television will be able to view Smallville a day before the usual Thursday night airing!
