quote:"Question: What's happening? I used to jump on here and be overloaded with Smallville spoilers, but last week... nothing! Do you have anything that can satiate this Smallville fanatic? -- Susie Ausiello: "Satiate"? Probably not. But "tantalize"? You betcha. My moles whisper that there's an action-packed story arc in the works for Lana.
Question: Please tell us which long-running characters will kiss in Episode 12 of Smallville. -- Joe Ausiello: Isn't it obious? L*** and Clark. "
Jason Mewes of the Jay and Silent Bob fame was recently interviewed for his new film Zack and Miri Make a Porno by Edmontonsun.com and he mentioned Kristin when asked the following question:
quote:"Dream porn co-star: "I'd probably say Kristin Kreuk -- Lana Lang from Smallville."
quote:"I really think we have a good film. I really think Kristin is enough unknown to play the role and not be identified with some star. While on the other hand, people kind of know who she is, you know from “Smallville” but not really. She fits the role. I think she’s absolutely terrific in the film and we have very cool sort of all the things from the video game that we tried for but then we feel we’ve not really stuck to it. It’s an origin story of Chun Li is what the movie is and we feel it works. I mean I feel it works."
quote:"Hey Ladies! This weeks Newsletter is all about Expression and how we play in the world of Fashion and Fun. We are really excited to announce two special guest writers, Sima Kumar, Celebrity Stylist and one of our new Teen Board of Director, Binks. Enjoy!
quote:"I was talking to someone the other day about Global Warming. I said something to the effect of, “Regardless of whether or not “global warming” is man made, it is still important for us to take care of our environment, and create sustainability.” This person responded with some indignation that it was not okay for me to even suggest there was a possibility that man-made “global warming” was not %100 true. I think the whole subject is getting a wee bit taboo… And when you aren’t supposed to question something any longer I get a little curious. "
quote:"Trisha in Chicago: Hi there! Searching for some Smallville scoop! We know that in the episode "Bride," Clark and Lois will recognize the spark between them just in time for Lana to come back. Can you give us any hints about what happens there?
Well, we are going to find out why Lana (Kristin Kreuk) has returned and where she's been all these months. We'll also learn why she left that Dear John video for Clark (Tom Welling). And I'm hearing Chloe's wedding reception will not go as planned."
quote:"Here in Canada we just had a Federal Election. And only about 59.1% of us showed up to the polls. Apparently, that is a record low in the history of Confederation. We have elected a minority (under 50% of the seats) government. Which is kind of code for: nothing can get done. Unlike the folks in the US, we have more than two major parties… but the two “biggies”(my word, haha) are the Conservatives (more right) and the Liberals (more left). The other major parties are the Bloc Quebecois (French Canada), NDP (left/socialist), and Green. 37% of Canadians voted in another minority Conservative government.
Why am I sharing this? Well… some media is calling the low voter turnout “apathy”. That Canadians are apathetic. And I heard some chatter on CBC Radio (Canadian public radio), about the concept of making it a law to vote. Australia, Brazil, and Iraq (under Saddam) all enforce/d voting."
quote:""Max Payne" is the second fall videogame adaptation by 20th Century Fox, which had success last year with the $100 million hit, "Hitman."
Fox is also developing a film based on Electronic Arts best-selling PC game "The Sims" and is working with Capcom and Hyde Park Entertainment on "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li" and the new "Street Fighter IV" game. "I think so long as there are interesting, exciting videogames created with good plots, good stories and interesting characters, it's a natural outlet for Hollywood storytellers to reach for those foundations," said Patrick Aiello, producer of the "Street Fighter" film."
As you guys can see, I've changed the layout to a Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Lit theme. This is the darkest I've ever made the site! Hmmm, sooo:
quote:"What sort of outside relationships did you have with your fellow actors?
Well, Tom (Welling) worked all the time, so he was always exhausted. And he's got a wife. He got married. So I didn't see Tom a lot. Allison (Mack) and I saw each other a lot. We'd go to the theater a lot in Vancouver. Sometimes Kristin (Kreuk) would go with us. Kristin's very quiet and shy."
We have selected the GBD Board of Directors and we are sooooooooooooooo excited! I figure that an excess of o’s will encapsulate our level of woot-ed-ness! Unfortunately you will have to wait until the newsletter is released to find out. So, yeah. That’s it.
quote:"Ladies, This week we have got tips on raising your biology grades, the low down on raw chocolate as a healthy and uber yummy snack, how to make lists in your brain and remember them without any electronic gear, and we are announcing our Teen Board of Directors!!! It has been such a wonderful experience for us to experience each of your submissions... There seems to be a true interest (and the beginnings of commitment) to creating better selves and in turn a better world. It is an inspiration to us and it is such a beautiful and courageous thing, Kudos! We hope that all of you continue on that journey, no matter what bumps you encounter on the way. Love! love, love. Kristin and Kendra"
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li: Promo Poster?
Posted by Webmistress on 2008-10-09
It's been questioned if the poster that seen in this clip of the Street Fighter IV booth at the Tokyo Game Show is of Kristin from Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li:
quote:"With a heavy heart, Clark enters to spot Lana, lying on a gurney. He stares, distraught, knowing that somehow this is all his fault. As a DOCTOR finishes stitching up her wounded leg, Lana sees him."
Made this Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li countdown clock awhile ago and been meaning to share it here, but kind of forgot about it... just remembered, so here it is:
quote:"Sharing his thought about the forthcoming "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" to MTV News, Steven E. de Souza gives out a surprising comment about the new "Street Fighter" project. The director/writer of the 1994 "Street Fighter" believes that "Chun-Li" will be a better movie than the original one due to the fact that it focuses on one particular character."
Kristin will also be appearing in episode 8.12 Bulletproof, this will be her 3rd episode out of five episodes. Kryptonsite.com has also posted these following Lana spoilers:
quote:"- Clark and Lana have a dinner date... or is it just two old friends reconnecting? - Lana meets Tess in this episode, and the ex-wife vs. devoted follower sparks fly."
In London there is this freaking rad school… They have courses in what they consider the major topics in our lives: love, politics, work, family and play. They also provide dinner parties with groups of strangers with “courses” of discussion… And you can pay to hang out for an hour with an “expert” or your choice… Check out the site! And send in your thoughts! SCHOOL OF LIFE Love!
quote:"We here at GBD received some truly beautiful and inspiring submissions for the Board of Directors. We will announce who has been selected on October 9th! So… Woot!
quote:"Our wonderful GBD member Emma-Lu sent this here great image… The caption was: “If rain does not stop in Cape Town”. We here at GBD think this is also applicable to Vancouverites. Would you rock these babies?
Kristin will be appearing as Lana Lang in the big episode of season 8 of Smallville titled Legion. This will be her second appearance in the 8th season.
