Vote for Kristin at Voote.com for the Hottest Canadian Actress! This poll is really cool it shows the Country/Region, Sex and Age Group of the voters! This is a cool way to get a feel of who's Kristin's biggest fan base. Right now seems that European females between the age of 21-45 seems to fancy Kristin over any other! Also right now Kristin is at #3, being beaten out by her Smallville walk on extra co-star Evangeline Lilly at #2 and her Partition co-star Neve Campbell who's at the #1 spot. So go vote! Thanks to John for the info!

Then become a member! I've closed off the ratings of images in the gallery because there's someone (at the most two people), who continue going into the gallery and rating all of the Kristin's images with 0 stars. Why? I have no idea! But what I do know anyone who spends time going through ALL of the images in the gallery and rating them with 0 stars is no fan of Kristin. So you trolls out there if you want to continue rating all of the images in the gallery with 0 stars, become a member so I know who you are and and I can ban you from the gallery asap! Cheers!

Jensen Ackles has nothing but nice things to say...

From Dreamwatch #14: “But Kristin was great.” Ackles continues. “Kristin and I literally jumped into bed together right off the bat. Before we knew each other we were making out and we were sucking face practically every show. That can be strange, but she’s very talented and it was cool working with her. I think she’ll have a career ahead of her. She’s beautiful, she’s talented and she’s smart as hell.” Thanks to tnchick for the info.

Kristin was interview in the January issue of SFX: "At the beginning of Season five Lana is very much Clarks girlfriend," begins Kreuk, " but it seems to me that things are really shifting. Lana's mind is on this spaceship and these aliens that she saw and the mystery surrounding that. That's her driving force and it's drawing her closer to Lex. She still doesn't really trust him but the two of them are almost forming a partnership in a way - which is really strange for her and for him - and it's got a slight sexual aspect..." she grins, " on his side." Michael Rosenbaum has said for years that he would like Lex to get jiggy with Lana. Are we there yet? Kreuk gives a burst of laughter, " Yes! Here it is. Five years later.....talk about a slow burn." Is she telling us that she gets to lock lips with the chrome-domed supervillian-in-waiting of Smallville? " I did. Today. Moments ago. I swear to god. I did it today." Kreuk gives the very definition of a knowing wink. "Apparently I got the best kiss out of him in the four years that he's kissed girls." Good for you ma'am. We're mighty impressed. "Because, Michael, when he kisses these girls, goes all out... but I made him be gentle," insists a suddenly prim Miss Kreuk. " So its over - the first ones over. I don’t like doing kissing scenes but the first ones over so that makes it easier for all the other times." Invited to tell us what she's going to do when legions of panting women and blokes write in to say , " How dare you kiss our Lex?", Kreuk responds with, "Well, this was in a dream, so its not a real kiss. There hasn’t been a real Lex and Lana kiss yet. I don’t think she'd betray Clark that way." Thanks to tnchick for the info.

Ten Sexiest Women of Television

From PM Media Review.com: 5. Kristin Kreuk (Smallville) - It takes quite a hottie to steal the attention of the Man of Steel. While Clark is busy trying to control his X-ray vision, Ms. Kreuk is tempting him at every turn as the demure Lana Lang. With Lana being this tempting, we may be seeing comic history being rewritten. I mean could you leave Smallville? As Metropolis beckons, one day Kreuk will be moving on past Smallville. Will she find her way into a role that will really put her on the map? She's making the most of those good looks as the Neutrogena girl, but I don't know that acting jobs in dramas that are forgotten before they arrived like Partition and Earthsea will exactly be the ticket to where she needs to go.

Is Kristin being too good for iGene = Lana being killed off?
Posted by Webmistress on 2005-12-16
Is Kristin Kreuk too good for iGene? Will Kristin's Smallville character be the one to be killed off in the 100th episode? Am I really reading something unpleasant about Kristin?!?! From Genegeter.com: After talking to Kristin Kreuk’s manager again, Russ Mortensen, I’m sure Kristin’s character is going to be killed in the anticipated 100th episode of “Smallville.” I have this power sometimes like my own spidey senses ... I contacted Mr. Mortensen in late September 2005 about interviewing Kristin for iGene. He told me she was in India filming “Partition” and to get back to him in a few weeks so I did. Russ said to me in October, “if the topic is ‘Smallville’ she won’t do it.” I had no problem with that. Then, I didn’t hear from Russ for a while. I tried contacting him again but not able to reach him. I tried a few times. Now it’s December, a few weeks before I drop off iGene to be published. Finally I reached him and Russ said he wasn’t trying to avoid me. I told him I didn't have much time. He told me Kristin was off on this particular day and he would contact her about setting up an interview between us. It was still no “Smallville” questions that followed with, but not in Russ’ exact words, after five seasons, yada yada yada, like Kristin was bored with “Smallville” or it was so yesterday for her, and she would love to talk about India, the new movie and maybe she will open up to talking about her idea of (which was supposed to be off the record) putting together a young women’s magazine about growing up and things like that. An hour later, Russ got back to me, told me that Kristin wasn’t feeling it, the book concept and that he tried because he was game all along for Kristin to be in my book. Is Kristin too good for iGene? Well, I wasn’t feeling her in “Legend Of Earthsea” or “Eurotrip” so I guess we’re even. Since I haven't seen the 100th episode yet, we will see if my spidey senses were right. Oh, and while they are at it, kill off Annette O’Toole’s character too. Why not? Kill the old Lana and the new Lana in the same episode. Bitter Sweet Symphony that's life... I thought authors live off of rejections?! ....Wait, that explains it. Maybe this dude will sell a book or two off this rant.

Kristin get political on etalk Daily: Announcer: With the federal elections just weeks away, Kristin Kreuk told Suzie what she hopes the platforms will focus on. Kristin Kreuk: I'm kind of a left winger in a lot of ways, so making education as great as it can be I think it's really important. If you look to The States, you see their education system just doesn't work, and we don't want to end up that way. We want to keep our public school system as strong as it can be, so that our youth can go forth and do great things in the world. Screen caps:

Kristin featured in "Smallville Magazine"!
Posted by Webmistress on 2005-12-06

Not only is there a new interview in Smallville Magazine #12, there's also never before seen promo images of Kristin! How do you cope with the fan reactions to what happens on the show and how you character changes? I’ve actually not had to deal with that so much. I haven’t really been to any conventions or done a lot of that stuff. In my daily life and when I travel, most people, depending on where I am, see me as Kristin ---even though their idea of who Kristin is, is probably entirely different to who I really am, thanks to interviews, publicity and however I’ve been shaped in the media. It’s never like, “Oh, Lana---so what’s going on in Smallville?” People don’t really use it like that. So I haven’t had to deal with it in the sense, but people do see you because you’re on television as somewhat like a character, no matter what, which isn’t bad for me because Lana is perceived as a kind, caring person, which I am too! (laughs) To read more of the interview and see the promo images click here! Big thanks to theone!

"Get Smart" the movie gets a director!
Posted by Webmistress on 2005-12-05
If you guys remember reported back October 2005, Steve Carell let the cat out of the bag when he mentioned that he and the producers of "Get Smart" the movie (based on the 1960's campy TV series) were in the lookout for Kristin to play Maxwell Smart's gal pal who always gets him out of trouble, Agent 99. No word from Kristin or anyone affiliated with her on wheatear or not she's taken up the role, but Steve Carell has been quoted in saying that Kristin is knee to the idea of playing Agent 99. Now two months later, still no word from Kristin about taking up the role... but at least now the film finally has a director attached to it, now we (the fans) can see what direction this film is heading! And from the looks of the director’s resume, maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad idea if Kristin took the role…*hint, hint* From Yahoo news: LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Peter Segal, the director of several Adam Sandler movies, will turn the classic TV spy spoof "Get Smart" into a feature. Steve Carell is attached to play hapless secret agent Maxwell Smart. The series, which ran on NBC from 1965 to 1969 and then on CBS for one season, starred Don Adams as Smart, a.k.a. Agent 86, a spy for Control, fighting the evil forces of Kaos. Warner Bros.' big-screen version will contemporize the setting, with Control falling on hard times and not getting the big government funding other spy agencies, like the CIA, do. Segal directed the Adam Sandler comedy hits "The Longest Yard," "50 First Dates" and "Anger Management." His other comedy credits include "Nutty Professor II: The Klumps" and "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult." Carell was recently in theaters with "The 40-Year-Old Virgin." "Get Smart" was turned into the 1980 box office dud "The Nude Bomb," which starred Adams, but not his TV sidekick Barbara Feldon (Agent 99) or their boss (Chief), played by Ed Platt, who had died six years earlier. Adams died on September 25. Thanks to friday for the heads up!

TV WEEK: Lana does lots of butt-kicking in coming episodes. Is that you or a stunt double? Kristin Kreuk: I do a lot of it. It's pretty simple, basic stuff that they cut together — a flash of the foot, a head whipping — so it doesn't have to look excellent from a distance. But I've got a background in dance, gymnastics and karate. And I've been doing a little kickboxing, because Tom and Allison (Mack, who plays Chloe) both train with this great kickboxer, so I've started to go. Kristin in Australia’s TV Week
Posted by Webmistress on 2005-12-01
From TW.org: With Smallville just starting back up on Australian television after a painfully long break, TV Week magazine caught up with Tom and Kristin for a short interview in this week’s edition of the magazine. From the little that I’ve been able to find out it appears that the interviews are nothing especially new, but if any Aussies can pass along scans or info about the article I’d really appreciate it.
