Kristin is a really cool person. Not only is she honestly one of the most beautiful women I've ever had the pleasure of being around, she is really down to earth and sweet. Sometimes I had to force myself not to stare at her. I was very lucky to have a few great conversations with her. On my first day, a veteran PA said to me, "I've been working on the show for three years, man and I've never spoken to her. But she's amazing, right?" "You've never spoken to her? Why the fuck not?" "She's a celebrity man, you don't just say hi to her." ... In that moment I made it a point to introduce myself the first chance I got. I didn't have to wait long. The next day, she was on set and I bumped into her at the craft service table, with no one else around. I couldn't believe how lucky I was. She said, "I don't know why I'm here, isn't lunch in like fifteen minutes?" "Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing." (Of course I wasn't really there for the food.) "But they don't serve chocolate at lunch, and I need chocolate!" She laughed at herself, and made me laugh - just at her amazingly sweet nature. "I'm sure you wouldn't understand, women need chocolate." "So I've heard." At this point I think I was making a cup of tea that I didn't really want. "I'm dropoutfilms by the way." And I held out my hand... Then she did the sweetest thing ever, she wiped off her hand on her bum for what felt like forever. I can honestly say that she is a very sweet, sincere, hard-working person. Unlike Tom, who takes a minimum of five minutes to get out of his trailer once called, Kristin is always on her way within seconds. She is nice to her fans, nice to the crew, everyone loves her. I think that she may be a pretty big star in a few years. She is also smart and reads awesome books (I suspect Tom Welling may be illiterate). She knits. Dislikes the show, and says she wants to 'get out of the business'.

Since it was Asian Heritage Night with Yao in town last week, I’m hoping it’s Canadian Heritage Night tonight. Visions swirl: Bryan Adams performing the Canadian National Anthem, Canadian bacon, fiddlehead ferns and caribou in the media dining room, the courtside seats filled by Nelly Furtado, Pam Anderson, Estella Warren, Kristin Kreuk, Avril Lavigne and Neil Young, a pair of Mounties (one word, fellas—motorcycles) throwing a rotting moose carcass at Isiah Thomas to show their appreciation for his contributions for Canadian basketball. And, of course, a halftime extravaganza featuring the incomparable Celine Dion. Tragically, none of this actually happens. Instead, we’re forced to take in Knicks/Raptors a la carte, which given their respective records is a hard pill to swallow. Eh?

Last night I went into the old video/audio page for the first time in a long time and came across none of the links working, not even ONE! I don’t know how long that’s been going on for, but I’m pretty sure a long time since I haven’t looked into that page in awhile.
So to do quick damage control I’ve decided to just have videos and link directly to my YOUTUBE account that I've created for this site 5 months ago.
I’ve also removed the Guestbook from the top boxes and added the YOUTUBE link there.
While I was pimping out the page with the color scheme of this site, I uploaded about 10 interviews and some other random videos.

ROME -- The first Tahiti Film Festival, due to start Saturday, has been canned.
Fest founder and producer Pascale Fortunat, head of the L.A.-based special events and marketing company Passions Prods., is accusing the French Polynesian government of ordering customs to block delivery of tech equipment and withdrawing support, though Vice President Jacqui Drollet vigorously denies his office is involved.
In an official statement, Fortunat declared "internal political challenges have materialized, of no practical consequence to the festival, which surface as exploitation of our company."
Fest organizers are hinting at a clash between embattled President Oscar Temaru and Culture Minister Tauhiti Nena and the mayor of Bora Bora, Gaston Tang-Song; latter two are strong supporters of the fest.
France had to call in riot police to quell tensions in the capital Papeete in early November when Temaru found it impossible to disperse protesters calling for his resignation....
...Jury lineup included Pierce Brosnan, Bob Rafelson, Natasha Henstridge and Bai Ling.
Fest's purview was romance in the movies, with 11 features in competition including "The Promise" (Chen Kaige), "Partition" (Vic Sarin) and "Lovelorn" (Yavuz Turgul).
Screenings were to be held in the evenings on an island in the Bora Bora Lagoon, with prizes handed out on Dec. 8.
Passions Prods., which launched the Tahiti fest at a gala party at the Cannes Film Festival in May, is negotiating for other dates.
