Last week, Jason C. caught up with Kristin Kreuk and Allison Mack on the phone and got the scoop on their college survey. This week, he gets down to business with some pressing Smallville-related questions for Kristin. Does she do her own stunts? How is it portraying Lana's anger? What's her take on Bizarro? Find out the answers here -- and check back next week for our chat with Allison!
Soon you’ll be able to see a couple of your favorite CW stars on movie screens. We just got word that Kristen Kreuk – Lana on Smallville – will be showing off her fighting moves in the latest cinematic video-game adaptation. Kristen will be kicking butt in Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li -- and yes, she’ll be starring as Chun-Li. We can’t wait to see Ms. Lang work her fighting mojo on big bads other than Lex Luthor!
Also, Life is Wild hottie Andrew St. John wants to be your date for Valentine’s Day – that’s when his horror movie The Caretaker is set to be released. The flick revolves around a group of teenage boys who attempt to give their girlfriends a good scare in an abandoned house, where a real-life urban legend involving a caretaker took place.
Will you be checking either of these flicks out when they hit theaters?
The news of Kristin being cast as Chun-Li in the new Street Fighter movie has been spreading all over the web in the past few days, here are a few links reporting the news:
Comingsoon.net is reporting that Kristin is cast in the upcoming Street Fighter movie as Chun Li:
quote:"ComingSoon.net has learned that "Smallville" star Kristin Kreuk will play Chun-Li in Hyde Park Entertainment's Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li! Directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak from a Justin Marks script, the action pic starts filming in Thailand in March, 2008. 20th Century Fox will distribute the live-action feature based on Capcom's video game. The movie is focused on female fighter Chun-Li and her journey for justice."
Now the question is, how good of a source is Comingsoon.net?
Thanks to sp27 for the heads up!

Thanks to Sidney, Rhiannon, Ahmed and whomever else kept making me aware of this!
quote:"When I announced on theTVaddict.com that I was going to be speaking to the both of you, I was amazed at the number of questions from fans across the world. Spain, Brazil, France the response was incredible.
Kristin Kreuk: Even though we’re popular in Canada and the United States, our international audience is enormous. It’s quite amazing actually."
I foresee by the end of this week all the reports on the main page having the "Interview" icon...I mean the rate these interviews are coming! :weirdo:
From TV.com:
quote:"TV.com: Well, talk is swirling that if season eight happens, it will be Smallville's last. I know all good things must come to an end, but are you guys kind of sad to see it go, or are you ready to move on?
Kristin Kreuk: Yeah, I definitely feel like we've been on the show for a long time, and I'm ready to move on, but I love the people that we work with, we've got such a great crew and people on cast and crew, and they're amazing, so I'll miss them a lot."
quote:"We’re creating a college site, and right now we just want to get as much data as possible because what we want to create will be specific to what college student want,” Kristin told me last Wednesday. “We want to find out what they’re interested in, what they’re spending their money on, what they want to see in the world, what they like to go out and watch or play, or do, so that we can create something really cool for them."
quote:"It’s an amazing time for a lot of different people, and I think it is important to encourage students to think critically and wrap their minds around things and to really take charge of their lives and help actualize the things they want to see in the world."
quote:"Is there a role in the future, post-"Smallville" that you would like to do?
K: Yeah, definitely. I'm kind of open to a lot of them, but I'd like to really do roles that are kind of complex and challenging and just try new things. "
quote:"Kristin Kreuk and Allison Mack, along with their friends Nicki Clyne from Battlestar Galactica and Sarah Edmondson of Edgemont, will soon be launching their own website aimed at college students. In creating this website, they want to hear about some of the things that YOU, the fans, would like to see. To take the survey, check out the link below. To let the fans know a bit more about what they will be doing, Kristin and Allison have done an interview with KryptonSite's Craig Byrne where they've explained their goals. They also talk a little bit about what's coming up on Smallville, so be beware of spoilers near the end of the article!"
BuddyTV had an opportunity to sit down with Kristin and Allison Mack yesterday for a exclusive interview. Kristin and Allison discussed their time on the series as well as a top secret website for college students that they are preparing to launch in the near future.
quote:"The TV Addict will be interviewing Kristen Kreuk and Allison Mack tomorrow afternoon [Friday] at around 1:45PM (EST). So if you’ve got any questions for the two SMALLVILLE stars, please post away in the comments below."
CHLOE REVEALS TO JIMMY THAT SHE IS A METEOR FREAK — Clark (Tom Welling) returns to Smallville from the Fortress and tells Lana (Kristin Kreuk) that Kara (Laura Vandervoort) is gone. Clark tells Lana they should team up to being Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) down, so she gives him all the information she’s gathered so far, including a report on a man named Adrian (guest star Tim Guinee), who was infected with an alien substance.
Adrian secretly plants a bomb on Chloe (Allison Mack) and tells Lois (Erica Durance) if she doesn’t get Lex to admit the truth about his experiments with 33.1, he will detonate the bomb. Chloe, thinking she is about to die, confesses to Jimmy (Aaron Ashmore) that she is a meteor freak.

Enews20.com published an article on their site titled US Teen Births Tilt Up, Unmarried Rate Hits Record.
How this relates to Kristin, I'm not so sure... but the the author of the article used a picture of Kristin's Smallville fictional character Lana Lang from episode 5.09 Lexmas as the article's feature picture.
Which is odd, since in that episode Kristin's fictional character Lana Lang was nor a teen or unmarried in the episode, also using an image of a TV fictional character is also misleading. I mean, if they were gonna go there, at least use a picture like of Ellen Page's character from the film Juno. At least that's more current and in actual relations to what the article is about...haha.

Here's a few mentions of Kristin from her fellow judges at the A Cappella Innovations.
Benjamin Stevens:
quote:"I didn't have as much time for casual conversation as I would have liked; I wasn't really able to get an answer to Joshua's question. "Do you sing?" led to two "yes" (Clyne, whose judging left her group one dance-break short; and Mack) and one "no" (Kreuk)."
quote:"denise reis gave a stunning performance of her unique blend of brazilian folk, jazz, and, yes, vocal trumpet. if you have not seen this before, please look her up on youtube. she is brilliant, beautiful and one of the sexiest women i have ever seen. (shhh... don't tell allison or kristin, they might get jealous)."
Kristin's Smallville co-star Laura Vandervoort (Kara/Supergirl) was interviewed by Comic Continuum and when asked about her cast members she had this to say about Kristin:
quote:"Kristin (Kreuk, who plays Lana) was really, really sweet and I went out to dinner with her."
As reported last month, Kristin is featured in this month's Smallville Magazine issue #24 inside and on the variant edition cover. To find the cover with Kristin's featured on it, you must go to your local comic book store or buy online!
Kristin was spotted this past Thursday dinning on Main St. Vancouver. She was sighted having lunch with a friend with her hair pulled back in a loose bun, jeans, some top with a cute scarf and minimal makeup.
It was said she was "absolutely stunning." She was smiling and having a nice time with whomever she was lunching with. Towards the end when Kristin was getting up to leave she bumped into a table and knocked the cutlery off the table. Kristin's reaction to this was said to be "adorable". The sighter also said, that Kristin looked to be 5'4" in height.
quote:"This kind of atmosphere lays a very firm groundwork for the horror to flourish, and for a portable game it still possesses the hair erection skill for which SH is known. I'll admit to tingling a little on the train up to London, and I'm fairly certain it wasn't due to the Kristin Kreuk lookalike adjacent from me; that was responsible for an entirely different bodily reaction."
KKW.com was mentioned on yesterday's House Of El Podcast, with JC of SVFan.com when talking about different Smallville fansites and related fansites worth visiting!
quote:"Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) of "Smallville" was chosen as "Best Looking" among a smokin' group of contenders, and quite frankly she stomped the competition. This stunning brunette garnered 28% of the vote, with runner-up McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey) of "Grey’s Anatomy" a distant second (12%), and other hotties pulling only single digits."
Today is exactly 25 days until Kristin's 25th Birthday and what great time to remind her fans about Kristin's 25th Birthday Present Project for this year then today?!
This years donations will stop on December 30th, Kristin's birthday! So if you plan on donating do it now or before then. If you aren't planning on donating because you can't or for whatever other reason, help us get the word out about the project! That would be greatly appreciated!
Also and as you guys can see I've added the donation button on the top left hand side section of the site for easier access, hope that's helpful! :)
One fan who attended the A Cappella Innovations was lucky enough to meet Kristin during the events:
quote:"Overall though both Allison and Kristin were super nice to all the fans. Gave a bunch of autographs and greeted everyone that had gone and talked to them. I was one of those lucky people. I think in general Kristin looked really down to earth person. Kind of shy but nonetheless very nice to all people. The whole evening she was smiling, dancing and enjoying herself big time. And last but certainly not least - in real life she's just as gorgeous as she is on TV. So if there are any people out there that actually think she's all "fixed" on TV - they are completely wrong. Her beauty is absolutely genuine. Even my girlfriend agreed with me on that one and let me tell you - that doesn't happen that often :)"
