quote:"Kristin Kreuk Why You Know Her: You may know her from the Canadian teen drama Edgemont, but you probably loved her or hated her as Lana Lang on Smallville. What She's Doing Now: Hopefully, Kreuk won't be as divisive as Hannah, a new Buy More employee (and possible love interest) in the new season of Chuck. Too bad she's not a spy, since she knows all of those crazy Street Fighter moves now. The third season of Chuck premieres Sunday, Jan. 10th on NBC."
Kristin is still in the running for the Campagna Brothers film, Matt Campagna posted the following on the comment section of the news posting about his twitter on wanting Kristin for his film:
quote:"Actually, Kristin in still in the running for two roles in Roll the Hard Six. We've already cast one of friends and co-stars (and fellow Canadians) from Ben-Hur, too! Hopefully she'll dig one or both of the roles we've got in mind for her; she really is a fun Canadian talent who could use the chance to play and flex her acting chops for her fans and the rest of the world to enjoy!
quote:"Do you have any new scoop on Kristin Kreuk’s ‘Chuck‘ character? – Zachary via Twitter Only that the ‘Smallville’ alumna made a “super” impression on both Chuck Bartowski and the ‘Chuck’ bosses. Asked to detail what draws his alter ego to brunette beauty Hannah, Zachary Levi told me, “They’re both tech geeks. They’re both into that world where they know how to reboot servers off of backup script.” Plus, Zach had to add, “She’s smoking hot.” Kreuk filmed three episodes, starting with this season’s fifth, “and I believe there’s talk of maybe getting her back,” Zach said."
quote:"Harry in Boston: Cannot wait for Chuck. Scoop please! There’s something going on beneath the Home Theater Room at the Buy More, and it is not just mental—it is governmental! (I’m hearing of a new secret passage from inside there.) Also, Chuck and Kristen Kreuk will be spotted there playing some serious tonsil hockey, i.e. “making out like teenagers,” according to my spy. Sorry, Chuck and Sarah fans. But the good news is that Kristen’s character is not what she seems, so like Jill before her, she cannot be long for Chuck’s world."
Telvisionaryblog.com also has positive things to say about Chuck Vs. First Class:
quote:"Personally, I think that the second (written by Ali Adler and Scott Rosenbaum), the fourth (written by Zev Borow), [and the fifth (written by series co-creator Chris Fedak) are the strongest installments of the bunch...
...While some faces might be familiar, there are also a few new characters turning up, with the most compelling being the enigmatic Shaw (Brandon Routh), who adds a very intriguing new dynamic to the mix and makes quite an entrance. I can't wait to see just where the writers take his character and some reveals late in the game add some nice layering to what, in lesser hands, could have been a stereotypical hard-edged spy role. I'm also curious to see just how seemingly innocent Hannah (Kristin Kreuk) changes things up."
Also from a comment to the reviewer by someone who also saw the first 5 episodes:
quote:"Episodes 2 & 5 are the standouts, though episode 1 & 4 are excellent. Episode 3 is very good too but when you consider how great the others are, it doesn't stand out as much... though it has a great cliffhanger ending.
I think Shaw could become my favorite character. The slight reveal you talked about adds a lot to his character. Oh and Hanna & Chuck are really cute together."
quote:"Edgemont, the teen-skewing half-hour series from Canada's Omni Films, will make its debut in syndication in over 85% of US households from January 18 next year...
...Stations groups acquiring the show for January include Tribune Broadcasting, Newport, Acme, Lockwood, Granite and The CW+ network, a version of The CW network serving markets outside the top 100 in the US. Creative Television Marketing has been tapped for ad sales."
Kristin's first episode in Chuck will be episode 5, CHUCK VS. FIRST CLASS. ChuckGasMic was sent the first five episodes by TheWB and this is what they had to say about episode 5:
quote:" EPISODE 5 - CHUCK VERSUS FIRST CLASS This is a big episode for Chuck. I can't really say more. But it is great. This one reminds me of a great HEROES season 1 episode. Maybe Spiderman 1? I can't think of anything to say that wouldn't give away important plot elements so I will just end there."
quote:"Kristin Kreuk and Brandon Routh will both be appearing for several episodes this season. When I asked if it was safe to assume they would both be obstacles in the way of Chuck and Sarah's romance, Schwartz noted, "They're obstacles, but we didn't want to just bring in characters to merely be obstacles. I think you'll find that the way that they interact in the spy story lines, and certainly the case with Brandon's character, is going to reveal complications and secrets throughout the season." Fedak revealed she's a new member of the Nerd Herd, who Schwartz noted, "is going to set multiple hearts aflutter, not just Chuck's." "
quote:"What are we going to see out of the Buy More this season? JS: "Buy More will always be a dysfunctional hotbed of bizarre personalities. They’re going to face their own challenges this year, cutbacks and potential management overthrows, a new assistant manager coming into the mix, who's someone you may know from the show. There'll be a new comely young lady who’s going to come work at the Buy More this year played by Miss Kristin Kreuk. She plays Hannah and she’s going to set multiple hearts aflutter - not just Chuck's.""
A new CHUCK tv promo aired last night during The Sign Off premiere and it features a clip of Kristin as Hannah, nothing we haven't seen, but it's a clip that hasn't been shown on air:
A second trailer to Ben-Hur was uploaded to YOUTUBE, new clips of Kristin as Tirzah can be seen at the 0:32 mark:
Also the description of the video has the airing dates for the mini series for Canada:
quote:"Preview of the 2010 remake of 'Ben Hur'. It's slated to be aired as a two-parts (each part lasts 2 hours) TV film on April 4 and 11, 2010 at 8 PM on CBC (Canada). Moreover, the film was shot with a budget of $25 million."
I told myself that wouldn't conform and get myself a twitter...so I didn't... I got one for this site! BWHAHAHA!
Honestly after spending some time on Twitter via the Twitter page Lanny made for Sweet, I came to realize that Twitter is REALLY an awesome way to network and promote a site!
Also, in honor of KristinKreukWeb.com being on Twitter, in the comment section of each news posting now, you can now directly tweet the news from this site to your twitter profile, by clicking the Twitter icon!
Oh and if all the ridiculos amount of linkage to KKW.com'sTwitter profile wasn't enough, here's one more:
quote:"Former "Dreamgirl" Anika Noni Rose lent her voice to Princess Tiana, Disney's latest tiara-wearin' beauty, for the animated flick "The Princess and the Frog," in theaters this weekend. In her honor, we've compiled a list of other Hollywood leading ladies who would also make fitting Disney princesses; so put on those silk gloves and click daintily through to see who we picked."
quote:"7. TVGuide.com: Tell us about Chuck's new love interest in Kristin Kreuk. Levi: Kristin may well be one of the most adorable girls in the world. She's a, super nice, and b, really talented. It's tough when you only have one thing to go off of when you're watching somebody to get a feel for what their acting level is. It's only Smallville—and not to downplay Smallville— but she's got more range than you can even see from her previous stuff. I saw a whole different color and shade to her when she came in to play Hannah on the show. Last, but not least, just gorgeous. She's Dutch and Chinese, so I guess that's how you make 'em. Wooden shoes and chopsticks...both wooden, though! So I guess it's a wooden thing. Also, her and Rachel Bilson, just put me in your pocket small. She did a great job and I felt like we had a great chemistry.
8. TVGuide.com: Is her character a bad guy or a good guy? Levi: Part of the fun of any one of these guest stars that we have is not knowing where it's going to end up, where there's going to be a turn. Rachel Bilson's character, for example, didn't turn out to be bad, she just happened to be getting illegally imported hard salami from the Greeks. Jordana Brewster was Fulcrum and bad, but also kind of redeemed herself, too. So people will have to watch and see."
A recap of Kristin's interview with ET Canada at the WHISTLER FILM FESTIVAL - ARAXI VIP PARTY:
quote:"So, the Erin person asked KK when was the last time she skied, KK said that its been a long time since she skied and she said ITS COLD! Erin said to KK, Your a wimpy chick. KK replied I am a wimpy chick.
quote:"Araxi's zingy signature martinis kept the social scene lubricated as did appearances of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li hottie Kristin Kreuk and legendary Canadian director/producer Ivan Reitman."
quote:"CaleyVanular @AritziaLoves Kristin Kreuk from smallville just came into Aritzia Whistler n got her outfit for a Whistler Film Festival Party Tonight!"
