The YOUTUBE channel for this site has been suspended today due to a video violation. Not exactly sure why the whole channel was completely taken down, since this was just one violation.
I've contacted YOUTUBE, but in the meantime I've decided to reopen another channel because the likelihood of YOUTUBE reopening the channel, just doesn't seem good.
I guess I'll just use this account to favorite other videos in relations to Kristin, comment on other YOUTUBE channels and to upload videos that hold no violations whatsoever! That even includes videos with a full songs in them...so no fan music videos!
quote:"KREUK TO SHOOT STREET FIGHTER IN VANCOUVER: Back in early January we reported that Smallville’s Kristin Kreuk would star as “Chun-Li” in the video game-to-feature adaptation Street Fighter: Legend Of Chun-Li. It has been confirmed that in addition to filming in Bangkok, the 20th Century Fox production will also shoot here in Vancouver. Meanwhile, Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Klein and Rick Yune have been cast in the project."
BuddyTV.com wrote an article on how Smallville should get rid of Lana, then below the article there's a poll asking if Smallville should get rid of Lana with the options 'Definitely', 'No way' and 'I don't really care'.
Subject: If you could ask a fellow girl ANYthing, what would you ask?
quote:"We would ask:
What do you want to do in your life? Do you like black licorice?
heehee... When we are done writing all the things we would want to know, we can make a question set to ask girls anywhere we go!
Bring it on team!
xoxo Kristin and Kendra"
Subject: Internet Safety
quote:"One of the most important things we are preparing for the GBD site is "internet safety". While we're working away on our end on safety, we thought it might be a good topic to get you all thinking about as well. Share all the different ways you all go about protecting yourself on line. Have you ever experience any scary situations? What are the precautions that you take, and what are the precautions you see others taking?"

I just wanted to give you all an update on Juicy Peach, the arts grant that Kristin and I are starting. So we discovered that getting all the legalities of starting an official not-for-profit are actually a bit labour intensive and take a bit of time to pass through… Who would have thought? :)
Given that Kristin is training to kick some serious Street Fighter butt in Thailand, we are moving forward with the company, but just a little more slowly than before.
I wanted to let you guys know that the calendars are still for sale, and we actually did a fantastic photo shoot with my beau, Chad, for personalized photos that are for sale to support Juicy Peach as well!
Check it out, guys, and we will keep you up-to-date with all the fun and crazy stuff we are working on to get this cool idea off the ground. Thanks again for all your support!"

quote:"Now we're left with the One Tree Hill Trifecta taking on the unsinkable lass from Smallville, Miss Lana Lang. How will OTH fans react to the battle between Peyton and Haley? And what will happen with Lana's legion of fans meet Brooke's equally rabid following? Your votes will decide! You have until 11:59 PM on Monday to vote -- so get started!"
The French magazine Star Club interviewed Kristin's Smallville co-star Tom Welling, who had some really nice things to say about her:
quote:"StarClub : "And what about Kristin Kreuk ?" Tom : "She is one of the most talented actresses of her generation. Our ccollaboration is wonderful. Behind her strong intelligence, there is a sense of humor really particular.""
Tom also talks about the conflict between Smallville and Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li:
quote:""For now, we have to finish the 7th season! With the strike, everybody thought that Smallville would have one season more, and that the show could be completed thanks to a 7th season, because the 15th episode is already written and it is amazing, it's worth an end of season. We are not trustful, we fear the worst : the show could stop at the end of the season or even before. As for Kristin, thinking that we would have finished the shooting of the season in March, she has signed a contract to make on this date the film Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li… The more time passes, the more the end of the shooting of Smallville is threatened! The show becomes mission impossible…"
Yesterday I came across a website thanks to the people over at IMDb that basically listed the full plot-line for the film, from beginning to end basically! I was going to report about it last night but never got around to it and now the whole page was completely edited out... darn! Guess it'll still remain a secret...
If anyone interested in checking the site out that I speak of, which is basically a role call for open auditions to the film... click the following URL:
quote:"Kristin Kreuk, Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Klein and Rick Yune will star in Hyde Park Entertainment and Capcom's "Street Fighter," based on the popular Japanese vidgame franchise. Twentieth Century Fox will distribute the actioner, set to begin lensing in March.
Kreuk, who plays Lana Lang in the CW's "Smallville," will star as martial artist Chun-Li. Duncan will play Balrog, while Klein is stepping into the role of Nash. Yune is taking on the mystical Gen.
Rounding out the cast are Moon Bloodgood, Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas, Singapore's Edmund Chen and Hong Kong film star Cheng Pei Pei.
Producers are still casting the film's villain, Bison.
Andrzej Bartkowiak ("Romeo Must Die," "Exit Wounds") is directing from a script penned by "Voltron" scribe Justin Marks. Hong Kong fight choreographer Dion Lam ("The Matrix") is handling the extreme fight sequences.
Hyde Park chairman Ashok Amritraj and senior exec Patrick Aiello are producing. Vidgame publisher Capcom exec produces.
Project marks the second attempt at turning the "Street Fighter" game into a viable film franchise after Universal's 1994 version, which starred Jean-Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia.
Plot of the new pic is being kept under wraps but will focus on the Chun-Li character. Shooting will take place in Bangkok, Hong Kong and Vancouver."
HollywoodNorthReporter.com has reported that the main cast of Smallville has agreed to come back for an 8th season. Kristin being part of the main cast one has to assume she'll returning for an 8th season as well. Who knows how factual this report is, though.
quote:"HNR has also learned that the main cast of Smallville have agreed to return for another new production season of the critically acclaimed, Vancouver-shot, comic book-to-TV series."
Kristin's role in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li was mentioned in an article on CNET News about Street Fighter IV the new Street Fighter video game:
quote:"A new Street Fightermovie is also in the works, rumored to star actress Kristin Kreuk, best known for her role as Lana Lang in the Superman TV series Smallville."
Lois (Erica Durance) follows Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) to Detroit and discovers he has found Kara (Laura Vandervoort), who has amnesia. Finley (guest star Corey Sevier), a busboy who is obsessed with Kara, fears Lex will take her away, so he shoots Lex and holds Kara and Lois captive. After Lex's comatose body is found, Chloe (Allison Mack) offers to heal him, but Clark (Tom Welling) refuses to let her.
I felt (along with Bobby...hee) that a single thread devoted to Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li wouldn't be enough to hold all the different discussions that are surely to raise once things starts getting into motion with the film. So to get things moving along, a full forum has been added for Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li to the message board.

Serena van der Woodsen defeated Lois Lane after a hard slog, but that was nothing compared to the epic battle between Lana Lang and Blair Waldorf. After a long, hard-fought game, Lana emerged victorious -- but the margin of victory was only 1.01% (a mere 60 votes)!"

THE GREEN ARROW AND BLACK CANARY BATTLE IN SMALLVILLE — While secretly working for Oliver (guest star Justin Hartley), Chloe (Allison Mack) intercepts one of Lex’s (Michael Rosenbaum) project files, but she is attacked by the Black Canary (guest star Alaina Huffman), a mystery woman with a subsonic cry. Dinah Lance, Black Canary’s alter ego, is a conservative talk show host who is working at the Daily Planet and clashes with Lois (Erica Durance).
Lex convinces the Black Canary that the Green Arrow and his team are terrorists so she launches an attack on the Green Arrow and Clark (Tom Welling). Meanwhile, Lois discovers Oliver’s secret. Kristin Kreuk, Aaron Ashmore, Laura Vandervoort and John Glover also star.
In this month's issue of Wizard Magazine, issue #197... Kristin ranked #10 on the 25 Sexiest Women of TV list. This is what they had to say about Kristin:
quote:"KRISTEN KREUK (“Smallville”) Clark Kent must be a few screwdrivers short of a toolbox: Were Kreuk’s girl next door Lana Lang to ever fix those deliciously, impossibly sculpted eyes and cheekbones in our direction, we’d forget about saving the world and focus on the important things in life—like smelling her pillow. "
Hollywood Reporter.com has listed Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li with Kristin's name as cast, on their list of domestic films in preparation. This is the other closest confirm confirmation of Kristin's casting in the film since Comingsoon.net first reported the casting back in December and Kristin's name appeared on the films IMDb page s Chun-Li.
