Kristin ranks #91 for Spain's FHM magazine 100 Sexiest Women List for 2006. I believe this is Kristin's first time making the list for FHM Spain.

Kristin Kreuk Is Pakistani

23-year-old actress Kristin Kreuk, who plays Lana Lang on Smallville, is set to play a 17-year-old Muslim girl named Naseem Khan in Partition, a film about the division between Pakistan and India. Neve Campbell, 32, also stars in this film and will play the passionate but lonely Margaret Stilwell, a woman who helps Gian Singh. I haven't been too impressed with Kristin's acting in Smallville but I'm cautiously optimistic about her role in Partition.

NBC has announced that production of The Office will stop in March in order that Steve Carrell can make Evan Almighty, the sequel to Bruce Almighty. The proposed Get Smart movie would probably shoot immediately afterwards. That would put it on track for a Winter 2006 release.

Well it seems production for Smallville will be ending very soon as well! As they have already started filming the finale for this season, this week! ( read here)

And I know Steve is filming Bruce Almighty right now, but how long will that take to film? There's still April and all of May to film Get Smart and Kristin won't be back filming Smallville until June.

I've been pushing for Kristin as Agent 99 since the first news of this role popped up! So hey, I can't help point out the irony in events in relation to Kristin somehow being linked to Get Smart!

You can't see Kristin in the photo, but she's there hiding in the canola somewhere. The scene that's being filmed can be seen in the trailer for the movie where Naseem, Gian and baby Vijay are playing... I'm assuming it's that scene... only if there are more scenes in the canola field?

I just saw this on Yahoo! and I thought it was kind of interesting....it doesn’t specifically mention that Partition is showing but the festival is focusing on Muslim films. The title of the article is "Tribeca Film Festival focuses on Muslim World” so I guess it could be playing there right? I don’t know here’s the article about it:

According to Matt from Myriad Pictures, Partition is just finishing the post-production stage. Partition will likely be playing in festivals over the next six months and then be released sometime thereafter, but where and when has yet to be determined.

Cannes will be one of the Film Festivals Partition is said to play in.
