CLARK AND LEX ARE TRAPPED TOGETHER IN A COLLAPSED MINE LINED WITH KRYPTONITE - After Jodi (guest star Emily Holmes), the wife of a Special Forces soldier, sets off a pipe bomb in one of Lex's (Michael Rosenbaum) secret labs, Lionel (John Glover) is severely injured and Lex is taken hostage by the enraged spouse. Claiming Lex kidnapped her missing husband, Jodi threatens to blow up the entire lab with Lex inside unless he tells her where her husband is. Clark sets off to rescue Lex, but is immediately felled by the kryptonite lining the earthen walls. Lex and Clark realize the only way they will make it out alive is by helping each other. Kristin Kreuk, Allison Mack and Annette O'Toole also star.
In a previous column, we mentioned that Smallville star John Glover might be departing the series. No confirmation on that front yet, however, E!News Online is reporting that one of the four main cast members — Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Mack or Kreuk — will be killed off before the season ends.
Since we know it can’t be Lex Luthor or Supes (in fact, we’ve learned that Welling is signed with the show through an eighth season) that just leaves Lana (Kreuk) or Chloe (Mack). Tune in May 17 to find out.
Thanks to Yojimbo413 for the heads up on Metro Vancouver!

NOW ON TO MY RANT:
I'm sure most who visit here got wind that it's really Kreuk that won't be returning next season or at least that's what the world wide web has been strongly suggesting ever since Sunday, when someone over at the Kryptonsite.com board confirmed it as being true. Ever since then others have started popping up confirming the same thing over at lana-clark.net's message board. I can't confirm nor deny it, since I myself no longer know what to believe anymore!
Also it doesn't help matters when former Smallville writer/co-executive producer Steven DeKnight confirmed awhile back that Chloe won't be going anywhere, then yesterday wasn't able to deny that Kristin too wasn't going anywhere when asked about it on his myspace blog.
So yeah, outlook of Lana Lang dying and Kristin Kreuk not returning seems really bad if you go with what's being strongly suggested by those who say they're in the know.
If this ends up being completely false, don't hate me for scaring you guys, at least those who want Kristin to continue on Smallville! I'm just here to report news and since there's been so much buzz about this these past few days, I just had to say something about it!
Kristin was spotted earlier this April with her Smallville co-star and real life friend Allison Mack (Chloe) leaving a Home Depot with a bucket of yellow paint.
The sighting was featured in two different magazines, 24hours Vancouver and Public magazine:
Thanks to Yojimbo413 for the heads up on 24hour Vancouver and Lia from Sokreuk.com for the scan and Nicolas from Kreuk-Central.net for the French magazine name!
Kristin was featured tonight on ET Canada, they spoke about how rumors are flying that Kristin's Smallville character Lana Lang will be leaving Lex Luthor come the season 6 finale.
We recommend that you watch Smallville, not for the story, cause on the screen exist just one man of steel: Christopher Reeve! The attraction of this series is Kristin Kreuk's role as Lana Lang, Superman's love interest!
Kristin's Smallville co-star Michael Rosenbaum was interviewed recently by Teentelevision.com and he spoke about having dinners with Kristin:
quote:"TeenHollywood: Was this one of those casts that went out after shooting to hang out?
Michael: Oh yeah. On "Smallville" I'm playing this intense, crazy character and I commute back to L.A. Everybody works such long hours that we don't hang out much although Kristen and I have dinner once in a while..."
Alfred Gough confirmed at this year's Jules Verne Fesitval that happened this past Saturday that Kristin will most likely be attending next year's events!
Hollywood.com has been having issues trying to move this site over to the new hosting, hence for the past downtime from weeks before.
Now this weekend they tried it again and it seems everything went through fine, hopefully everything went through fine! I'll assume it did since the site was down for three full days and something must have went on those days! ^_^
Kristin's picture is featured on the main page of TVGuide.com under spotlight. Nothing said about Kristin it's in reference to Smallville, but I thought it was cool and thought I would share:
TELEVISION'S "WONDER WOMAN," LYNDA CARTER, GUEST STARS - After Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) discovers Chloe’s (Allison Mack) mother Moira (Lynda Carter) has the power to control meteor freaks, he develops a drug to wake her from her catatonic state in the asylum, then threatens to kill Chloe unless she uses her power to help him. Clark (Tom Welling) helps Chloe break into the asylum to rescue Moira and finally get to know her mother.
From Kryptonsite.com: Ever since the official Titan companion books spotlighting Smallville's first three seasons had come out, people have been wondering when new entries would be on their way.
A few weeks ago, we announced that Amazon.com is listing Smallville: The Official Companion Season 4 for a September release. The book contains exclusive interviews with the show's writers, producers, cast and crew; character profiles; excerpts from the Smallville Ledger and Torch websites; and much more. It's written by someone KryptonSite webmaster Craig Byrne so if you like the site, chances are good you'll like the book.
But that's not all! Amazon has also now listed cover artwork for Smallville: The Official Companion Season 5 for a November release. Craig is conducting interviews and working on this new book as we speak.
quote:"So two people just called me at home and said they saw Kristin at the Vancouver Sun Run. They said she was wearing shorts and one of those T-Shirts they give you with something tied around her waist, it looked like jacket or something. They said she was kinda just jogging along with some people when the two of them started staring at her and she just took off like a rocket.
If they aren’t lying to me I hope some news shows find her and interviews her or something."
If anyone able to confirm this, email me.
I wasn't planning on posting this, but what the heck...
From E! News: Attention Smallville fans: This news might make you feel like you have butterflies made out of Kryptonite in your stomach, so read at your own risk.
Inside sources tell me exclusively that one of the main four castmembers—Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Allison Mack or Kristin Kreuk—will be killed off before the season ends.
Although all of these castmembers are under contract for one more season (they initially signed seven-year deals), producers have decided to have one of their characters meet an untimely end, in a shocking plot twist.
Kristin has been featured in this week's issue of Metro NewsVancouver along with two of her Smallville cast mates due to taking part in a public event last Saturday that celebrated the new location of Miranda’s Hat, Vancouver’s popular fair trade boutique on Main Street.

My last post with a Gallery update was deleted due to tech issues the site was having, so I'm reposting those images along with the newer ones I've added, into this update:
Grandefm.com has reported that Kristin has shot two new Neutrogena commercial just last weekend in Vancouver, for Latin America. It said that she had to learn both Portuguese and Spanish to make the commercials more appealing.
This is exciting for me personally, since unlike the German and France ones she did that didn't have her speaking anyway, I'll actually understand what she's saying this time around!
Word has it that Kristin, nor her following co-stars Tom Welling (Clark Kent) and Erica Durance (Lois Lane) will be attending this year's Jules Verne Festival, even though a few months back they were reported to be attending.
The only cast member from Smallville that will be attending will be Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor).
Allison Mack, Kristin's Smallville co-star and real life friend was interviewed recently on her official website AllisonMack.com and she had some really nice things to say about Kristin:
quote:"...Kristin has been a huge influence on me and the fashioning of my ideas in regard to the world...
...Kristin did a fabulous job [In Labyrinth]! She was SOO creepy! Lana was just CREEPY. It was great!...
...Yeah, she's amazing. Her movie's coming out this weekend [Partition]! You should go! She's brilliant in it! She's so good.
...Oh yeah, she's just such a fantastic actress. She's an intelligent woman and so well-spoken. So the fact that the world is going to see this part of her is really great."
