I've uploaded more video's to this site's YOUTUBE channel. Sadly a lot of the video were rejected by YOUTUBE due to the terms, so I wasn't able to upload all the videos I wanted to...boo.
Partition has been nominated at 2007 Leo Awards for the following awards:
Best Feature Length Drama Best Direction in a Feature Length Drama Best Screenwriting in a Feature Length Drama Best Cinematography in a Feature Length Drama Best Overall Sound in a Feature Length Drama Best Sound Editing in a Feature Length Drama Best Production Design in a Feature Length Drama
Smallville was also nominated for the following awards:
Best Dramatic Series Best Direction in a Dramatic Series Best Cinematography in a Dramatic Series Best Cinematography in a Dramatic Series Best Production Design in a Dramatic Series Best Costume Design in a Dramatic Series Best Make-Up in a Dramatic Series
SMALLVILLE, SUPERNATURAL OFFICIALLY RENEWED: The CW network has officially picked up both of its Vancouver-shot series, Smallville and Supernatural, though both shows will apparently be given different U.S. time-slots next year. And while it appeared as though Kristin Kreuk’s Smallville character of Lana Lang might have met an untimely demise at the end of this past season, we’re told that Lana will definitely return for Season 7. Unfortunately, it is Annette O’Toole — who played Martha Kent — who has left the series; the Season Six episode, Phantom, was her last.
I've uploaded 20 videos of Kristin on to this site's YOUTUBE channel. There's still more videos I want to upload, but I'll keep it off for a few more days until I do so.
You can now pre-order the Smallville Season 6 DVD and the 2008 Calendar.
The Season six DVD is due to release either September 11th or 18th of this year. All the features haven't be released yet, but I'm crossing my fingers for at least one commentary by Kristin or at least a gag reel with Kristin in it!
The 2008 Calendar is due to release sometime in July of this year.
The cover art for the DVD and the Calendar were also released and Kristin's featured on both! Though I don't care for how she's featured on both of the covers. If you look, they have Lana holding Lex in some way on both covers, EEK!
I can force myself to understand why on the season six DVD cover, since Lana was stuck with Lex all of the season... but for 2008 Calendar aka season 7? Didn't Lana leave Lex this year and in season 6 (FINALLY)?
Anywho... you can pre-order the two item in the following links:
Mark Hildreth was interviewed by Coyoteradio yesterday evening about his role in Pirates 3, his music and Getting Back To America. The documentary he's working on with Kristin. This is what he had to say about it:
quote:"I am working on a documentary, there's a film I'm going to star in called ‘Private Wars’ which is based on, on an American play by James McLure, great American play. And in the film I'm going to play one of three young war veterans who just come back from the war and are in a VA hospital trying to re-inject, come back to life in America. And I'm working on making a documentary which is the making of the film where we're actually gonna go interview real Iraqi Veterans and get sort of straight from the horses mouth what its really like over there for those guys. So we see you know, what the film is showing in a fictional setting, we actually get to see the people that I'm basing my character on."

If you're planning on watching Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End tonight, tomorrow or sometime this weekend look out for two of Kristin's previous co-stars! Martin Klebba (Snow White) who's been in all three films and Mark Hildreth (Earthsea) who'll actually be the first voice you'll hear in this 3rd installment!
Kristin's Smallville co-star John Glover (Lionel) was interviewed by TV Guide's Michael Ausiello yesterday at The CW2007 Upfront events. When asked about the series going beyond a 7th season, this is what John responded with:
quote:"I don't know, some people say 8 years. I think Tom and Kristin have two more years on their contracts...so donno."
Interesting, Kristin did say during the press junket for Partition during the filming of Promise that she was thinking about going 8 seasons with Smallville, but she wasn't sure yet.
Kristin was featured in the January 2007 issue of Famous Magazine and I come to learn about it now!
I was browsing through Sevillepictures.com and came across a Press Clippings feature on their Partition page which has basically all the press clippings from every newspaper and magazine that featured Partition, it's about 50 pages worth.
I took a quick look through all the pages and this is the only one that caught my eye. When I have more time I'll try to scan through all the pages and see if there's any new quotes or interviews by Kristin on any of the other scans... OR you guys can do me the favor and just tell me about it if you get a chance to look through all the Press Clippings! I'm just saying... ;)
For those who are wondering if Kristin will be returning for a 7th season of Smallville I suggest you read the following from Kryptonsite.com:
The CW has officially announced their Fall 2007 schedule, and another season of Smallville is on the way, continuing in the Thursday 8pm timeslot.
They have also released a write-up promoting the new season; if you read closely you may get a hint as to who is leaving the show. Also on the cast list for Season 7 is a new addition.
SCIFI.com posted a review for tonight's Smallville season finale Phantom and this is what they had to say about Kristin:
What "Phantom" does really well is take all the characters to new levels. This year has been very good for Kristin Kreuk. The young innocent girl we first met six years ago is gone. Sadly, she's a victim of Clark's inability to be honest and tell her his secret and of Lex's deceitfulness, and Kreuk plays it all beautifully.

MARTIAN MANHUNTER RETURNS - When Clark (Tom Welling) discovers Lionel (John Glover) threatened to kill him unless Lana (Kristin Kreuk) married Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), he goes after Lionel to silence him once and for all. Lana tells Lex she is leaving him, and Martian Manhunter (guest star Phil Morris) makes a return appearance to help Clark stop Lex, who is trying to find the last wraith from the Phantom Zone in order to use its DNA to power his army of super soldiers. Meanwhile, Lois (Erica Durance) goes to Reeves Dam in search of information about Lex's secret lab and is brutally stabbed by a security guard. Chloe's (Allison Mack) secret power is revealed. Annette O'Toole also stars.
TV Guide has reported that Smallville has been picked up for a 7th season. this is the first official word on the matter, but it doesn't come as a big surprise: The trades are now reporting that The CW has greenlit new seasons of Smallville, Supernatural, One Tree Hill, Girlfriends and The Game, while All of Us is all done with. (Everybody Hates Chris earned a third season order earlier this spring.)
Network TV featuring more leading Asian American women
Posted by Webmistress on 2007-05-15
Kristin is mentioned in an article by Afterellen.com about Asian American actresses (even though Kristin Canadian) in Network TV:
Network TV used to have an unwritten rule that there could only be one Asian American woman, if that, in a leading (or even prominent recurring) role on TV at a time. Or in a few-year span.
In the '90s it was Margaret Cho on All American Girl, followed by Ming-Na on ER, and Lucy Liu on Ally McBeal. Then at the turn of the century, it was Keiko Agena on Gilmore Girls, and Kristin Kreuk on Smallville, plus a few others sprinkled in now and then.
14 Carrots Jewelry.com show casing the brand of earring Kristin ware during her Smallville season five promo photo shoot on their site, as well as a new photo of Kristin from the shoot which you can view below on:

Zip2it.com talks about Kristin's Smallville character Lana Lang's fashion sense:
Sometimes it's tough to catch the eye of a superhero. OK, maybe not if you're falling off a building or being held captive by a band of thugs, but if you're just a girl walking down the street trying to get the attention of a man in tights, sometimes it takes effort.
That is, unless you're the very stylish Lana Lang, played by Kristin Kreuk on The CW's "Smallville" (airing Thursdays), you just need a pair of sexy jeans and a figure-flattering top designed to make the Man of Steel melt in your arms.Of course, this season Lana has turned to the dark side in more ways than one. Her relationship with Lex is heating up, and her fashion sense is showing viewers that the way into a megalomaniac's dark heart is through precipitous use of black. While the little black dress is certainly a staple of any smart woman's wardrobe, people tend to forget about black in other forms. Jerseys, cardigans, tanks, camisoles and tunics in black tend to add an air of elegance to an otherwise casual ensemble.
No, I'm not trying to pretend the site wasn't down for over a week, just want to make that clear...haha. I wanted to get things working again (somewhat) before I posted a report about it.
As you guys can see I got the site back up on Wednesday after it being down for almost two weeks due to hollywood.com upgrading and moving things around on their end. During the down time I've decided to completely part ways with allstarz.org and keep everything on kristinkreukweb.com for now on... which means Kristin_Kreuk@allstarz.org is no longer in service. The new email address for the site is now kristinkreukweb@gmail.com, which I favor better...no spam!
And finally, I won't be around to update the site in the next few days or so because I'm going on a trip out of country and won't be anywhere near the internet until sometime next week. For the time being, check out Kristin's other fan sites!
The inaugural Ibiza and Formentera International Film Festival announced Thursday that it will screen 18 films during its May 29-June 7 run.
The films are divided between six regional sections: Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, Africa and co-productions. The winners of each section will compete against each other for the top prize, the Eleanor Falcon...
...The co-production section offers Vic Sarin's Canada-South Africa-U.K. effort "Partition," John Irvin's "The Moon and the Stars" from Hungry-Italy-U.K. and Antti-Jussi Annila's "Jade Warrior" from Finland-Holland-China-Estonia.
Kristin was mentioned again by Smallville co-star Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) in two recent interviews, during his time on Loveline and his interview with The CW Source. This what he had to say:
LOVELINE
quote:"Michael: (To the caller) But um, what do you think of Lana Lang, you have a crush don’t you?
Caller: Um, you know what actually Lana, well Kristin kind of reminds me a lot of my sister so I really don’t.
Michael: Yeah that’s ugh… why did you bring that up?"
CW SOURCE
quote:"CW: Is she a good kisser and why don’t we see more kisses?
Michael: Ugh, I don’t know. You know, you know why it’s weird because… I’ll be honest with you. Kristin and I talk about this, for four years we didn’t like each other. It’s not we didn’t like each other we didn’t get each other.
I’m kind of the weirdo she’s kind of the introverted, then all of a sudden we work together finally because we never worked together that much. Then she looks at me and goes ‘I like working with you.” and I was like “You know Kristin, I like working with you.” But kissing her is not bad in fact it’s very good, it’s suddenly better than a lot of things."
LEX TRIES TO BUILD AN ARMY OF SUPER SOLDIERS - Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) has been secretly trying to turn Wes Keenan (guest star Tahmoh Penikett), a military man who supposedly died fighting in Afghanistan, into a “super soldier” by injecting him with DNA pulled from the various meteor freaks he has captured. After a crooked senator (guest star Alan C. Peterson) threatens to expose his secret labs, Lex dispatches Wes to kill the senator, but Lois (Erica Durance) witnesses the attack and inadvertently becomes the super soldier's next target. Meanwhile, Clark (Tom Welling) tries to convince Lana (Kristin Kreuk) to leave Lex.
I've added screen captures from Edgemont episode 5.04 Get A Job:
Big thanks to gloria for the episode!
Side note: In last week's episode of Smallville, I don't know if anyone realized this but the reporter that Lana was going to meet up with at the Daily Planet before she got shot was Richard Kahan, who played Gil Kurvers on Edgemont!
I believe that would be Edgemont cast member #5 who has appeared on Smallville.
EW.com has posted up a poll to rate the love interests of superheroes and wheatear or not the actresses who play the love interest of the superhero are correctly casted in the roles they played. Kristin's featured on this poll for her role as Lana Lang on Smallville, to vote click below:

You can now pre-ordered the DVD on Amazon.ca by clicking on the DVD cover below:
I just placed an order and I wasn't denied, so I'm going to assume Kreuk fans in the U.S. are in the clear when it comes to ordering the DVD off of Amazon Canada!
UPDATE: (5/9/07) I received a confirmation last night at 11PM, just saw it in my inbox moments ago confirming that my order was placed. The total was 29 USD and change, which isn't bad at all!
Down side, since I went with Standard International Shipping I won't be getting the DVD until late June/early July...BOO! That's a lesson to all you, go with express if you want it the day of (or earlier), which I should had realized. Oh well... at least now we have full confirmation that those in the States can order the DVD! :D
Kristin will be starring in a new short film titled Dream Princess by comic book writer/artist Kaare Andrews, who's work include Incredible Hulk, Ultimate X-Men, Gen, Amazing Spider-Man and The Matrix comics.
Dream Princess is a modern sci-punk retelling of the tale of Sleeping Beauty, with a twist. The film will be a mixture of live action and animation.
I'm thinking something like Sin City and 300 maybe?
No real word as to when the short film will be released, but it's due to air on Bravo!FACT on Bravo!Canada.
Kristin's Smallville co-star Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) was on Last Call with Carson Daly and he spoke a little bit about Kristin.
During the show Carson pulled out two pictures, one of Kristin from the Arena photoshoot and one of co-star Erica Durance (Lois) once Michael started talking about his co-stars. Michael seemed surprised by the pictures, said he'd never seen them. He then confirmed that Kristin's still has a boyfriend and said that Kristin's boyfriend an attractive guy.
quote:"By far, though, the standouts are Kristin Kreuk and Tom Welling.
....Suspecting husband Lex of two-timing with Lois, Lana hires clueless Jimmy to investigate, but -- like any femme fatale worthy of the title -- there’s more to her then meets the eye. Kreuk’s 1940s Lana is a smart, sexy version in the Lauren Bacall/Barbara Stanwyck tradition. The actress’ penchant for overacting is perfectly suited to the fedora-filled trappings of the era. Robert Rodriguez should pluck her into Sin City 2."
Photos from Miranda's Hat new store opening party have finally surface on the Miranda's Hat website! There's pictures of Kristin with Smallville co-stars Allison Mack (Chloe) and Erica Durance (Lois), super cute!
