I was watching City Pulse (Channel 13) last night and they interviewed her about her role in Partition which is filming in a secret location in Langley, BC.

She was dressed up and made up as an East Indian girl. She looked pretty as always...BUT… just because I know she's not East Indian I felt like she didn't really look the part. BUT that's just me. Other people have mentioned she looked like Aishwarya Rai (sorry if I spelled the name wrong). I guess she was asked if she was East Indian coz she smiled and said, "No I'm not East Indian at all."

Recently, there was 5-10min news on Kristin's new film "Partition" on the Canadian channel CityTV news around 11:20pm. Kristin explains how she experiences the ritual life in India and she had learned alot about the culture. She was dressed in decorative Indian clothing(Yellow cloth and a few red stripes on the sides. some jewels too.) and her palms were tatooed in black. She was bowing down too.. I think she was doing a scene for the Partition.

Gail: She (Paula Garcés) was born in Colombia and moved to New York City when she was young. We had a search going in South America, in Mexico, in Chicago, in Texas, and in New York. She came in and read and put on tape at the MTV studios in New York, they sent the tapes to our casting directors, and they looked at hundreds of tapes and submitted maybe thirty for us to look at. We chose five and in fact, one of them was Kristin Kreuk who stars in "Smallville." She was another one of the finalists. We re-tested the finalists opposite Jesse and they had the best chemistry.

Here's your opportunity to see Kristin Kreuk's other show, Edgemont. An extremely limited release (a few hundred) DVDs are being put together on a cost recovery basis (meaning they aren't out to make money off them).

The set will include seasons 1-5 (70 episodes), and some special features, in a 10 disc set, for somewhere around $100, which may include shipping depending on where you live (or shipping may be extra).

Right now they're taking names of those interested, but they're only producing 200 sets (possibly 300 depending on interest). To get on the list send your name and mailing address to Feedback@Edgemont.tv. My name is already on the list.

It's shooting in Chandigarh (its a city in northern India north of Delhi) and Vancouver. Kristin is right now in Vancouver shooting from June 13 to July 18 or 20. That's only about a month so that probably means Kristin already shot in India prior to Vancouver I'm assuming since Smallville back in July.

Yes, I know today isn't Krisitn's birthday! But a group of Krisitn fans have came together to wish Kristin a very happy 23rd birthday by doing something very different from any of the other birthday projects that have been done by other Kristin fans on the world wide web over the years.

They have picked three of her favorite charities (actually her manager did) with these three charities they will raise money (with the help of us Kristin fans) and donate to them equally at the end under Kristin's name.

Pretty much nothing new was said, the interviewer asked Kristin a lot about Lana. He also asked her if there were any interesting stories from the set. She said she couldn't think of any except the fact that Michael was crazy and had bad taste in music. The special also provided a lot of behind the scenes kind of stuff. There wasn't really any new information unless you're interested in how they do the lighting on the set.

I believe they just took old interviews and used them for each of the actors. Because Kristin saying Michael is crazy and has bad taste in music seems to ring a bell from a past TV interview, correct me if I'm wrong.
