Kreuk added that she was not familiar with Le Guin's books, but that her sister was an avid fan. When Kreuk told her sister that she would be involved, "she said, ... 'Don't ruin it,'" Kreuk said. "She's my sister. She's a little sarcastic."

I've attached an image to show you what we have done so far with regards to the cg version of Kristin. HollywoodNorthReport, were able to get behind the scenes pictures of a Lana scene during the filming of season four of Smallville.

If you look hard enough you'll see Kristin in a black top standing by a red and black mini car.

As it was reported earlier this month, Smallville started production on July 12th.

It was told to me the reason Smallville started production this early was because of Kristin's schedule with Earthsea, after reading this on the Earthsea’s official website it seems to be the case:

Kristin Kreuk joined the cast this week in the dungeon set. She's as easygoing as Shawn Ashmore. One trick play we have with Kristin is that at the back end of our schedule we share her with Smallville, on which she's a regular castmember. So far no major conflicts. That may change once the other show has its scripts in. We shall see how it goes.

So it seems the people at Smallville didn't want to cut Kristin’s short on Smallville so they started early on shooting her scenes for Smallville, so she could work with both series without any problems. How nice! So those who are worried about Kristin’s scenes on Smallville being cut short because of Earthsea, no more worries!

Earthsea finishes production on August 6th, after that Smallville has her for good. Since Kristin is completely done with Edgemont, the Canadian soap on CBS.

The Earthsea's official site has taken up a new look along with new features. Not much on Kristin, but she's talked about in the set diary and there's also a small still picture of her and Shawn. It seems Kristin likes doing Jack Nicholson impersonation from The Shining, along side Sebastian Roché and Shawn Ashmore:

Sebastian Roché has become the set joker. During the rehearsal, when he axed the door apart, he launched into a Jack Nicholson impersonation from The Shining — "Here's Johnnyyyyy!" Shawn and Kristin launched into it as well — it was a rehearsal that was more laughs than work.

The WB has announced that the fourth season of Smallville will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. (ET).

It seems every season the people at Smallville have to give Kristin a new guy to suck face with, aren't the fanboys going to love that...

Jensen Ackles has been added to the cast as a regular. He will play the stubbornly independent heir to a rich Metropolis financial firm who becomes romantically involved with Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk).

The cast of Smallville returned back on the set for season four on July 12th. They usually start later but it seems due to Kristin’s filming schedule for EarthSea which ends production August 6th... Smallville’s schedule will have to be worked around EarthSea's for a few more weeks.

Smallville reruns are finally starting up this Wednesday and it'll be a full night, first Exile at 8/7c and afterwards Phoenix at 9/8c.
