Kristin's management Pacific Artists confirmed that Kristin will not be in "Pledge This!" after receiving an email by a fan (John) questioning Kristin's role in the new National Lampoon movie and if there was any truth to it.

Also it seems more than one fan emailed Kristin’s management regarding this rumor. Reason why Kristin's management seemed ever so willing to actually reply back to these fans emails regarding this rumor that has leaked out on every Kristin related fandom. So don't get any ideas about emailing Pacific Artists about general Kristin questions.

A network photoshoot this past weekend provided a rare moment when the entire cast of the show was together, so they celebrated afterwards with dinner - the idea of brilliant Smallville "mom" Annette O'Toole.

Rumor has been going around the web for a while about a new movie role for Kristin ever since talentmatch.com listed Kristin as a lead in the new National Lampoon movie Pledge This!. But the cast list at IMDB keeps growing and Kristin is nowhere in sight.

So it's becoming more clear that Talentmatch.com maybe wrong about Kristin's role in this movie all together.

Again if anyone can confirm this please contact us. I’ll be great to put this rumor to bed already!

For those who where wondering which issue of Ocean Drive Magazine Kristin will be featured in, word on the internet is that it'll be the September/October issue. So it should be in store in early September, I assume.

Just giving you guys are heads up, since I have gotten a couple emails asking me about the issue and it's due date!

In September's IN STYLE "What's Sexy Now" issue, they published the voting results of their annual sexy survey where more than 40,000 people participated. You all will be happy to know that Kristin made the survey, although not as #1 in her categorie.

Under "Sexiest TV Drama Actress," Elisha Cuthbert of "24" came in #1 followed by Jennifer Garner of "Alias" followed by Kristin Kreuk.

Kristin is featured in the Australian magazine TV WEEK AUGUST 14-20 2004. There is a small interview, (approximately 1/3rd of a page) spread across pages 90-91. In the interview she talks about EUROTRIP, which happens to opened in Australia August 12.

The Teen Choice Award is tonight at 8/7c on Fox! Don't forget to watch, Kristin will be presenting an award!

Yesterday Sunday, August 8 the Teen Choice Awards were filmed. Sadly Kristin did not win TV Actress, Drama/Adventure, but thankfully she was there along with her co-star from Smallville, Tom Welling.

On the TV drama front, Kreuk is pleased to be a first-time Teen Choice nominee for her portrayal of Lana Lang on The WB Network's "Smallville." Having attended the ceremony once before, she muses the experience was "kind of scary," since the celebrities are seated among highly enthusiastic fans. Still, Kreuk takes her nomination as acknowledgement of Lana coming into her own much more, what with her operating Smallville's Talon theater-turned-coffeehouse and spending time in Paris lately.

"When you're young and you've basically lived your whole life in one place, you can't go away for a summer like that and not come back changed," Kreuk says, adding that she herself has changed in addressing concerns to the show's writers and producers. "I'm still not completely comfortable doing it, but Lana has progressed so much, she's just a joy to play."

Kreuk, who has spent part of her summer working with Isabella Rossellini on the upcoming Sci-Fi Channel miniseries "Earthsea," reports other alterations to "Smallville" for its fourth season. They include the arrival of Lana's ultimate rival for Clark Kent (Welling): Lois Lane, to be played by relative newcomer and fellow Canadian Erica Durance. However, Lana won't necessarily be sitting around waiting for Clark to make his choice. She'll have a new love interest, too, portrayed by Jensen Ackles ("Days of Our Lives," "Dark Angel").

"I think actors are just like fans when a season ends," Kreuk reasons. "We don't know what the heck's going on, so we're just as anxious to come back and find out what happens to the characters."

Kreuk got in some R&R after finishing her series work last season, visiting Paris with "Smallville" co-star Allison Mack ("research," she calls it with a laugh) and also traveling to Cuba and New York. Whatever the result of her Teen Choice Award nomination, Kreuk is ready to get back to the job that earned it for her. "It's kind of hard to make everything that happens in Smallville seem real, but it's been a great experience for me."
