A Smallville French site was able to get a hold of the first promo clip of the new season of Smallville. Looks pretty damn hot. I actually have more hope for this season than what I did for season four.

The Frat Cowboy who ends up dancing with Lana in "Thirst" will be played by Cory Monteith, who happened to guest star on Young Blades, which happens to be the same TV series that Mark Hildreth stars in, who happened to have been in Earthsea with Kristin, who also happens to be the rumored boyfriend of Kristin.

August 21, 2005: Kristin Kreuk and Mark Hildreth, possibly a couple, walk around Vancouver Canada today holding hands. Hildreth tried to block any photos being taken of the two of them. Kreuk is in Vancouver shooting Smallville.

Background on the rumor:

Rumors of these two dating started back in late 2004 when a Candian newspaper spotted Kristin more than once with Mark (Earthsea co-star) around Vancouver... so in their article they suggested that the two were dating.

Though in the same article Kristin's PR denied what the newspaper assumed and stated that Kristin and Mark were just "friends". This could still very much apply now. We'll never know... But hey! A girl and a guy could be just friends...right?

I’ve just received word that Tom, along with Smallville castmates Jensen Ackles, Erica Durance, John Glover, Kristin Kreuk, Allison Mack, Annette O’Toole, Michael Rosenbaum, and John Schneider (I could have saved myself some effort and just said “along with the entire main cast of Smallville."), has donated to a charity auction for the PEACE (Protect Educate Aid Children Everywhere) Fund.

The fund, founded by actor Adrian Paul (of Highlander fame) in 1998, is currently working to aid children affected by the Thailand tsunami in December 2004. It’s a great and worthwhile cause, and I would like to take this time to thank all of the contributors for their efforts. Previous auctions have raised over $45,000, so let’s hope this one is just as successful!

I don’t have any further information at the moment about the item(s) that were donated, or about when the auctions will be taking place; however I will let everyone know as soon as I find out!

Seriously I'm starting to think that Kristin hooks her co-stars from Edgemont up with roles on Smallville...

First it was P.J. Prinsloo (Chris) in Precipice, then James Kirk (Travis) in Resurrection and then Micah Gardener (Craig) in his random cameos in Spell / Spirit, now Richard Kahan (Gil) happens to be guest starring in an episode (Thirst) for Smallville's season five! That's four co-stars from Edgemont! That we know of anyway.

Now I'm just waiting for Dominic Zamprogna (Mark) to pop up sometime soon as some type of FOTW (freak of the week) who has the power to lie and cheat a lot (Need to watch the first season of Edgemont to get that).

Then again Dominic is in The Fog with Kristin's Smallville co-star Tom Welling. Maybe she hooked that one up too? ::wonders::

Wikipedia seriously needs to make up their minds, they got us (at least me) all excited for nothing!

First they had Kristin listed under Celebrities who have been "punk'd" but haven't aired on MTV and now she's under Celebrities not punk'd along with Goldberg, Lil Jon (WHAT? WHAT? YEAHHH!) and Michael Vartan.

I know for a fact Kristin is busy with the new season of Smallville right now and this up coming September she'll be in India. So I know the girl not sitting at home reading one of her books or watching reruns on MTV (I bet she loves her MTV).

So I have no clue why the Kristin news has been so darn slow for a week and a day when she’s off actually working! So there’s gotta be something new to be reporter about her or for her to report herself…like ummm… some input on the new season of Smallville and her role in it?!
