As you may notice with all the pages being out of whack, I'm revamping the site a bit... This will be going on all the way into the weekend, because of lack of free time... :( So please bare with me!
Updated (8/31/09): Okay...this is taking a lot longer than I thought it would... I assumed I would be TOTALLY done by the weekend, but that didn't happen! Though I was able to do most of the sections, I wasn't able to finish the reformatting of the press section... which is gonna be cool beans! Or at least I think so! :D
That being said... donno when I'll be done with the press section. :( Hopefully soon!!!!
On Tuesday the 8th season of Smallville was released on DVD, outside from Kristin's 5 episode guest run, she's also shown a bit in the special feature of Allison Mack Directing Power. Nothing big, just a sweet behind the scenes moment between Kristin and Allison:
Kristin was mentioned on the August 18th episode of the MTV show The Aftershow, which here in America is normally shown after The Hills and The City. In Canada though, it's shown three nights out of the week as an entertainment talk show.
The episode can be viewed online, but only by Canadians.
Kristin is mentioned towards the end of the episode, the last five minutes in regards to the candid images of her in Morocco by the pool.
Kristin ranked #8 on E! - 25 Sexiest Young Stars countdown list. The special has aired a few times now and is scheduled to air again on Saturday at 3am, as far as I can see looking at E!online.com's TV schedule.
quote:"PC: I’ll be honest with ya, I really don’t care about working with celebrities or public figures. If they come my way that’s dope but I’m not going out of my way to look for anyone to wear them. I think the everyday person who buys my sneakers gives me a better feeling because I know when they are spending there money on my product that they really appreciate what they are getting. Do to the nature of your question though if I were to make a pair for a celebrity I would say either Kristin Kreuk or Lauren Conrad. The reason why is they are hot looking girls that seem down to earth!"
This video was uploaded on YOUTUBE back in February, but it was brought to my attention today and I have to say it made me laugh after viewing it. Fast forwarding to the 2:00 mark for the lol:
quote:"With the posts I have written about celebrities, and updated or previous and up coming movies, Kristin Kreuk, has been the nominated vote to be the best, and finest, Chun Li."
Few things I'll like to let you guys in on about commenting in the comment section here on the main page.
1. Don't spam! I've just added a flood control to the comment section. Meaning for now on if you try to double post you'll have to wait a full minute before you can post again. Hopefully that'll stop the double posting, period!
2. Character limit, I've changed them from 1000 to 3000. I've actually did this a few days ago when I saw some of the long comments some of you were writing to the point of having to double post because of them.
3. Degrading comments about the reports that end up on the main page. For example: "This isn't news why is it being posted?" or "Must be a slow news day if this what's being reported..." after awhile, that becomes bothersome to me! Understand, I pretty much post about anything in relations to Kristin...even if it's pointless and silly! I like keeping the site updated as often as possible for those who visit daily! If you don't like it, I'm sorry! But I've been doing it since day 1 and I don't plan on changing anytime soon, so please stop with those comments!
4. Submitting news... I don't have a problem with the submission of news in the comment section. I TOTALLY understand it's a lot easier than emailing... BUT when you guys do it, please at least try to make up a more reasonable username... because giving credit to the number '3' or something as random as that, looks really strange!
5. Bashing/Trolling don't do it...and I don't mean just towards Kristin!
Thank you for taking the time for reading the above...if you did and have any questions/suggestions go ahead and post a comment! Teehee. :D
Examiner.com has a new article asking who's the better Chun-Li, Kristin or Ming Na from the first Street Fighter film:
quote:"When comparing to Ming Na, and Kristin Kreuk, each had their own personalities, and experience in being an actress, starting in a film about a young Chinese woman, who had lost the relationship of her family due to Bison’s Crimes. Each actress, with their own perspectives on how Chun Li should react, towards a Crime Lord of Evil gave the audience a different perspective who is Chun Li. The question would be who was a better Chun Li, Ming Na, or Kristin Kreuk?"
Starting to really see me in everything. Every decision I choose and every action I take. Every conflict I encounter, every difference… There I am. When I experience beauty, there is my soul.
