The interviews just keep pouring in! Kristin was interviewed by TV Guide on the CW Launch Party green carpet. Kristin's talks about Lana's place in the new season of Smallville, as well confirms that she'll definitely be done with Smallville after the 7th season:

she wasnt animated at all except when she said that SV was the launching pad of her life or something. the rest of the time shes talking about Lexana she wasnt excited at all. KK talks wit her hands when shes pumped about something and the only time she did that was when she talked about SV being her launching pad.{subject}

right on, web mistress. kk was cast first and "set the bar" for the rest of the cast. producers then looked for a clark worthy of this lana. the rest is history and tom has lived under that cloud ever since.{subject}

Kristin was the first to be cast for Smallville.
When Tom went in to screen for the show with Kristin in front of the big wigs he forgot his lines (Kristin must be that breathe taking  ) and Kristin had to whisper to him the lines for him to continue.
I think that what that person meant about if it wasn't for Kristin, Tom wouldn't had gotten the role.{subject}
I persoanlly love smallville... KK didnt have anythign to do wiith TW get hired.... thier all pretty equal with fans.. Tw and MR have just as many fan sites as Kristin... im sry but do you guys know anything about how tv contracts work?{subject}

to bad shes signed on for 7th season!! shes definitely indifferent or bored wit the Lexana storyline. no excitement watsoever in her voice. good.
that said dont blame TW on Kristin hating SV. blame friggin Al Gough and Lois Lane and the talentless writers.{subject}

I think all three stars (KK, TW, MR) are dying to do other things, and all three would be glad if season 6 is the last. Don't blame Tom, how about blame Al/Miles for where they took Lana's character the last half of season 5 and going into season 6.{subject}
