Zachary Levi & Joshua Gomez Talk About Hannah

Posted by Webmistress on 2/28/10

From ChuckTV.net:

quote:
"How does Hannah impact Chuck’s Buy More life? Without putting to fine a point on it, she causes Morgan to be increasingly suspicious of Chuck’s obvious non-productivity. As Josh said, “Even Casey’s moving a Beastmaster now and then.”
# Morgan’s heartbreak at the end of 3.07, seeing Chuck and Hannah in the home theater room, isn’t directed at Chuck. Morgan is disappointed that he didn’t get the girl, again. Neither of them knew the other was interested in Hannah."

'Hitched' - Reviews and Spoilers!

Posted by Webmistress on 2/25/10

Reviews for the pilot script for Hitched are slowing leaking out and they've been positive!

From Zap2it.com:

quote:
"Read Hitched (8.5/10) this morning and really enjoyed the characters, humor, and setting. It felt like what happens after those wedding movies and the Eugene Levy is absolutely genius casting in the groom's dads room. I kept on picturing Monica's parents from Friends as the brides. Great stuff here I believe."

From Stephy:
quote:
"I read the Hitched Pilot – here’s some spoilers but please don’t read anything further if you don’t want to be spoiled:

I loved the Pilot – hilarious and very funny – it’s a cross b/w movies American Pie (dorky guy w/father that gives him advise) and Just Married. I’m excited cause it sounds very promising.

Rachel Applebaum (Kristin's character)
– we find out she’s more "experienced" than Brett. For example, there’s a hilarious bed scene which leads to Brett trying to find out about one of Rachel’s exes and he says they can confide in anything w/each other b/c they are married. Brett asks “How many of your exes were at our wedding – enjoying a salmon and puff pasty” and Rachel replies “Table 12”.
– she wants to have 4 kids eventually “two naturally, and adopt two. That way no one feels left out.”
– She hates the word “plow” when friends/family use it numerous times to describe “sex or making love”
– Rachel’s best friend is Shari
– Finished Law School finals
– Parents Wally and Judy Reynolds"

..."Hitched," which Schwartz co-wrote with Matt Miller, revolves around a newlywed couple (Kristin Kreuk and Jack Carpenter) dealing with their family and friends. "That '70s Show" alum Smith will play the bride's father, a man who loves a loafer."

Moving on from Smallville

Posted by Webmistress on 2/24/10

About.com wrote an article about all the actors who have moved on from Smallville and where they are now. This is what they had to say about Kristin:

quote:
"Kristin Kreuk, for example, who made left turn into Street Fighter and is currently wowing audiences as the new love interest, Hannah, on NBC's Chuck, is heading into a whole new uncharted territiry: the sitcom. Kreuk has joined CBS' pilot Hitched, starring with the goony Jack Carpenter (I Love You, Beth Cooper) as a newlywed couple who have to deal with their family and friends. Eugene Levy was just cast as the groom's dad, a "a tracksuit-wearing four-times-divorced lothario." (I'm suddenly flashing back to Larry on Three's Company.) The move from Chuck to Hitched is no coincidence: both shows are co-created by Josh Schwartz. "

Posted by Webmistress on 2/23/10

According to twitter user _Blabz, who broke the story about Kristin's casting in Hitched. Kristin got the lead female role in Hitch over the likes of Rachel Bilson and Mandy Moore:

quote:
"@ItsRachelBilson just got refused by the studio for a role in new @JoshSchwartz76 series "Hitched". Studio wanted her then trashed the idea."
&
quote:
"Exclusive - Before #KristinKreuk, @TheMandyMoore were in consideration for #CBS #Hitched. She wanted the role, she did not want to audition"

Josh Schwartz Mentions Kristin

Posted by Webmistress on 2/21/10

Josh Schwartz mentions Kristin in interview with Popmatters.com:

quote:
"At this stage in each show’s development, I remain a huge fan of Chuck. Season Three has been every bit as enjoyable as the first two and with Chuck becoming a full-fledged spy new twists have developed. The surreally cute Kristin Kreuk has given the show a recent boost as a love interest for Chuck while Brandon Routh has become a person of interest for Sarah. "

HollywoodReporter.com:

quote:
"Former "Smallville" star Kristin Kreuk and Jack Carpenter have been tapped as the leads on Josh Schwartz's comedy pilot for CBS, "Hitched."

The ensemble project, which Schwartz co-wrote with Matt Miller, centers on a newlywed couple (Kreuk, Carpenter) dealing with their family and friends.

Eugene Levy was recently cast to play the groom's dad, a tracksuit-wearing four-times-divorced lothario, on the Warner Bros. TV-produced pilot.

This season, Kreuk has been recurring on NBC's "Chuck" as Chuck's (Zachary Levi) new computer wiz girlfriend.

Carpenter, whose credits include "I Love You Beth Cooper" and "Sydney White," is repped by ICM and MJ Management. "

Kristin Headed To 'Fringe'

Posted by Webmistress on 2/18/10

From Cinemaspy.com:

quote:
"Smallville alum Kristin Kreuk is currently in late negotiations to guest star on Fringe, a source close to the production has told CinemaSpy. The episode, entitled "Northwest Passage", begins shooting next week, and takes place in the, not surprisingly, Pacific Northwest. CinemaSpy has been informed that the deal to sign Kreuk hadn't been locked as of two days ago, but that it's likely. A decision is expected this week.

If Kreuk is cast, no word yet on what part she will play, though we've been told there are at least two roles available in the story, including that of a law enforcement officer."
All I know about Fringe is 1. J.J. Abrams and 2. Joshua Jackson are apart of it... both positives in my book!

Chuck and Hannah versus Sarah and Shaw: Where do you stand?

Posted by Webmistress on 2/16/10

From Entertainment Weekly:

quote:
"There’s no new Chuck tonight, because of NBC’s Olympics coverage, but that doesn’t mean we can’t talk about the current Chuck controversy. Some of you are pretty steamed about the way the most recent episode, Feb. 8’s “Chuck Versus the Mask,” pushed Chuck into the arms of Hannah (guest star Kristin Kreuk), and Sarah into the arms of Daniel Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh).

I have to admit I watched last week’s episode not really considering the idea that the series was making some major romantic chess moves in having its key couple become attracted to other, new characters."
